BASTARD!!! -The manga was originally published in 1987 in Weekly Shonen Jump (published by Shueisha). ～The following year, in 1988, the manga was serialized and quickly gained explosive popularity among both men and women alike.

The story combines royal road entertainment with a novel and magnificent setting, an overwhelming fantasy worldview, powerful battles with elements of sword and sorcery, and sexy depictions of cute heroines that might have seemed a bit extreme for a boys' magazine at the time. The story and characters are richly illustrated with such appealing elements. This work is also known as "the originator and gold standard of dark fantasy manga" and has influenced many later fantasy works.

The first half: Episodes 1-13 will be distributed worldwide on Netflix on June 30, 2022 (Thu.). The second half: Episodes 14 to 24 will be distributed by the end of 2022.

The exhibition "BASTARD!!! EXHIBITION!" will be held in Tokyo and Osaka respectively to commemorate the anime adaptation. <Synopsis
