Daedalic Entertainment and NACON announce that "The Lord of the Rings: Gollum" will be released on PC/PlayStation 4/PlayStation 5/Xbox One/Xbox Series X|S on September 1, 2022. The game will be released on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S on September 1, 2022.

The Lord of the Rings: Gollum is a story-driven action adventure based on J.R.R. Tolkien's "Lord of the Rings" trilogy, with the first chapter of "The Fellowship of the Ring" telling the story of Gollum's experiences behind the scenes. As Gollum, you will embark on a perilous journey in search of your one and only "cousin.

When Bilbo Baggins steals his precious ring, Gollum leaves the Misty Mountains and embarks on a perilous journey from the dungeons of Barad-dûr to the fairy world of Mirkwood Forest.

Traveling through Middle-earth, Gollum sneaks, climbs, and uses all his cunning to cut through danger. He must also deal with Sméagol, the Hobbit's "self. It is up to the player to decide whether to let Gollum or Sméagol make the important decisions. You will meet well-known characters from the main game, as well as some new faces.

Developed by Daedalic Entertainment in collaboration with Middle-earth Enterprises, "The Lord of the Rings: Gollum" is co-published by Daedalic Entertainment and NACON, PC/ PlayStation 4/PlayStation 5/Xbox One/Xbox Series X|S on September 1, 2022, with a physical edition for consoles to follow.
