The movie "The Bride of the Fifth Class" was released in theaters nationwide on Friday, May 20, 2022, and a stage greeting was held at Shinjuku Wald 9 in Tokyo on Sunday, May 22.

The "Bride of the Fifth Class" was serialized in "Weekly Shonen Magazine" until February 2020, and the total number of copies sold in the series exceeded 16 million (as of April 2021). It is a romantic comedy in which the main character, Futaro Uesugi, who lives in poverty, becomes a tutor for the quintuplets who are on the verge of failing school and struggles to guide them to graduation.
The first season of the TV anime will air from January to March 2019, the second season from January to March 2021, and the second season from January to March 2021 on TBS and other networks, followed by the long-awaited film adaptation.

The movie "The Bride of the Fifth Class" was released nationwide on May 20 (Fri.) and drew more than 290,000 viewers in three days, ranking first among new releases at the weekend box office in its first week of release.
The stage greeting was held at Shinjuku Wald 9 in Tokyo on May 22 (Sun.). Six members of the lead cast, Sadashi Matsuoka, Kana Hanazawa, Ayana Taketatsu, Mirai Ito, Ayane Sakura, and Inori Minase, took the stage to greet the audience. The audience was excited about the contents of the movie.

The six cast members were greeted with loud applause. They told the audience about the movie, which will be shown on the screen, "It's a romantic comedy, so it's about who Futaro will choose, and it's packed into 2 hours and 15 minutes. Please watch every scene with your eyes and concentrate!" Mr. Sakura asked the full audience in the hall. The content of the show is so rich that each and every character is explored in depth. The cast also seemed to be feeling both sadness and a sense of deep emotion and satisfaction at the fact that they were able to finish playing the characters they were portraying.

From there, they each talked about the growth of the characters they have played for about three years since the first season. <Synopsis
The total number of copies sold has exceeded 15 million. An animated feature film based on the popular comic "The Bride of the Fifth Class" by Haruba Negi, which was serialized in "Weekly Shonen Magazine" (Kodansha Ltd.).

As a part-time tutor, Futaro is assigned to guide the five beautiful girls, who are "on the verge of failing" and "hate studying," to "graduation.
