Four "Ultraman" films selected by Hideaki Anno will be screened nationwide from June 3! including "His Highness the Monster (First Part)

Tsuburaya Productions will hold special screenings of "Ultraman" selected by Hideaki Anno at 13 theaters nationwide from June 3 (Fri.) to 12 (Sun.), 2022, to celebrate the blockbuster success of the movie "Shin Ultraman".

⇒ "Shin Ultraman" will be released on May 13 (Fri.), and the theme song will be "M87" by Genshi Yonezu! Comments have arrived!

In the special screening, four episodes selected from "Ultraman" (1966) by Hideaki Anno, the planner and screenwriter of "Shin Ultraman," can be enjoyed on the huge screen of the movie theater and in powerful 4K images.

In addition, on the evening of June 3 (Fri.), the first day of the film's release, a "talk event screening" with guest appearances is scheduled at TOHO CINEMAS Ikebukuro. Details will be announced on the "Shin Ultraman" official website as soon as they are determined.

Shin Ultraman" is a film that goes back to the origin of "Ultraman" and depicts the world where "Ultraman" first landed in modern Japan, a world that no one has ever seen before. Shin Ultraman" is now in theaters nationwide!

The giant, unknown creatures "Kaiju" appear one after another, and their presence has become an everyday occurrence in Japan.

The Japanese government, facing the limitations of its conventional weapons, has gathered together specialists in countermeasures against these creatures and established the "Kaiju Special Countermeasures Office", commonly known as the "Kato Kaiju Special Countermeasures Team".

The team leader, Kimio Tamura (Hidetoshi Nishijima), the operation planning officer, Shinji Kaminaga (Takumi Saito), a non-particle physicist, Akihisa Taki (Hiroki Arioka), and a general-purpose biologist, Yumi Funanori (Akari Hayami) were selected to take on the mission.

As the danger of the Kakumei Beast looms, a silver-colored Titan suddenly appears from outside the atmosphere.

Hiroko Asami (Masami Nagasawa), an analyst, is newly assigned to the Kakuma Special Forces to help them deal with the Titans, and she and Kaminaga are assigned as buddies.
