The novelized version of the movie "Mobile Suit Gundam: The Island of Cruz Doan," directed by anime and manga master Yoshikazu Yasuhiko and written by Kiyoto Takeuchi of the novel "Mobile Suit Gundam NT," was released today, May 26, 2022 (Thursday).

Directed by Yoshikazu Yasuhiko, "Mobile Suit Gundam: Cruz Doan's Island" will be released in approximately 200 theaters nationwide on June 3.
Ahead of the movie's release, "Novel Mobile Suit Gundam: Cruz Doan's Island" by Kiyoto Takeuchi, author of the novel "Mobile Suit Gundam NT," is finally released today!
The novel also depicts the past of Doan and the Southern Cross Corps, making it a must-see book for fans of the Space Century series.

<Synopsis>
The Earth Federation Forces, having withstood the defensive battle at Jaburo, launch a major counterinsurgency operation to capture Odessa, the home base of the Zeon Earth Advance Force. Amuro and his White Base sailed to Belfast to receive the last supply of supplies before the operation.
Amidst this situation, the White Base is handed a mission. It is a mission to sweep up the remaining enemies on an uninhabited island, commonly known as the "Island of No Return.
