Made in Abyss" will be released on September 1! Pre-order bonus, characters & cast announced!

The release date of "Made in Abyss: The Rengou Hoshi that Aimed for Darkness" for PS4/Switch/PC (Steam) has been set for September 1, 2022 (September 3 for the Steam version). Character information was also released.

The second season of the TV anime "Made in Abyss" will be broadcast this summer. Made in Abyss: Yami wo Motometa Rensei" by Spike Chunsoft is a 3D action RPG in which players themselves descend into the world of Abyss and aim for the deeper levels of the Abyss while growing up.

Under the supervision of Akihito Tsukushi, the author of the original story, the game fully recreates in 3D the abyssal world of the Abyss, including battles against protozoans, the collection of relics, and the curse of the Abyss. The dark fantasy with a taste of the original story can be fully enjoyed.

Pre-orders for the packaged version of the game began today at game retailers and sales sites nationwide. As a pre-order bonus, an acrylic art panel featuring the key visuals of the game will be included.

Characters
Main character / CV: Akari Kito
The main character who can be controlled in "DEEP IN ABYSS" mode.
Players are free to create their own hair style, facial features, etc.

Rico / CV: Miu Tomita
A lively and curious girl. Her dream is to become the legendary "White Flute" caveman.
She used to live in a Bercello orphanage, but when her mother Liza's white flute and a letter are found, she sets off on a journey to the bottom of the Abyss.

■Reg / CV: Mariya Ise
In order to find out who he is, he sets out on a journey to the Abyss together with Riko.
He is serious and mature in tone, contrary to his appearance, but when confronted with unforeseen circumstances, he becomes distraught and tends to hesitate.

Tiare / CV: Ayaka Suwa
A classmate at the orphanage. She is quiet and reserved, and is rather inconspicuous.
She is physically strong, but she is not good at running. Her dream is to become a white flute and go to the bottom of the Abyss.

Dorothea / CV: Akane Fujita
A classmate at the orphanage. She is a naive girl who yearns for Riko.
She is also a natural, which is both her charm and her flaw. She has a habit of competing with others.

Raoul / CV: Natsumi Fujiwara
A classmate at the orphanage. He is a cheerful boy.
He is the type of boy who says what he thinks and makes mistakes. But he is somehow lovable.

Made in Abyss: The Curse of the Abyss" is a 3D action RPG in which the player himself descends into the world of the Abyss and aims for the depths of the Abyss, battling protozoa, collecting relics, and the curse of the Abyss, all in 3D under the supervision of Akihito Tsukushi, the author of the original story. The dark fantasy of the original story can be enjoyed to the fullest.
Two game modes are available: "HELLO ABYSS," in which players can relive the story of the anime while learning the basic system and how to proceed, and "DEEP IN ABYSS," in which players can enjoy an original story in which they challenge the depths of the Abyss as a new cave explorer. Many characters from the original story also appear in the game, and event scenes are fully voiced by the anime cast.
