Movies "To All the People I Love" and "To the One Who Loved You" to be released simultaneously on October 7! Produced by TMS ENTERTAINMENT and BAKKEN RECORD

Boku ga Aishita Zenkona Kimi he" and "Kimi wo Aishita Hitori Boku he" will be made into animation films and released on the same day from October 7 (Distributor: Toei).

Based on the novels "To All the Children I Love" and "To the One Who Loved You" (Hayakawa Bunko) by Shihoji Otono, which were published in June 2016. They are love stories about two boys with the same names who fall in love with a girl in each world. The two worlds intertwine and intersect, and each world supports the other. ......The novel setting was introduced on TikTok and became a topic of conversation, and the original work has sold more than 280,000 copies in total.

The teaser visual depicts a boy and a girl in school uniform standing at an "intersection" under a bright blue sky with bright sunlight. Jun Matsumoto, who worked on "Friend", will direct, and BAKKEN RECORD, a new studio label within Tatsunoko Productions, will be in charge of production.

The teaser visual depicts a boy and a girl in a white one-piece dress standing at a "crossroads" under a warm sunset sky. The teaser visual depicts a boy standing at an "intersection" and a girl wearing a one-piece dress.

If a certain "choice" can change the outcome of the story in this world, what fate awaits those in the other world who are not chosen? Each of the special feature films released today starts with the same voiceover: "From the moment we are born, we live our lives making countless choices. Bokuai" depicts the life of a boy with the same name, Koyomi, who has to lead a different life depending on his "choices," and his days with his classmate, Kazune. Kimi Ai" depicts the days with Shiori, who meets and falls in love with Koyomi in a different parallel world.

In "Boku Ai," Koyomi spends time with Kazune, who tells her that they are lovers in the other world, but what is the meaning of the numbered wristwatch that Kazune wears and the error code screen on her computer?

In "Kimi Ai," Koyomi and Shiori are riding bicycles together in another parallel world, and the two look at each other with slow-paced music and a happy atmosphere. The next moment, however, we see a sobbing Koyomi as she narrates, "I met you in a world where I thought we were destined to be together, but we are not. Will the two calendars be able to meet a happy ending in their respective worlds?

The intersection that connects the worlds of "Boku Ai" and "Kimi Ai" is based on the "Showa Street Intersection" in Oibu City, Oita Prefecture, which is the birthplace of the original author, Shihoji Otono. It will be interesting to see if this "intersection" will become an important key to the progress of the two stories.

To All the People I Love

To the One Who Loved You" Special Report

Director's Comment
To All the People I Love" Director/Jun Matsumoto
Takasaki Koyomi and Hidaka Koyomi, the same and different people, different and the same. By chance, Hidaka and Takasaki Koyomi decide to go out together, but which Koyomi is the happier one? It is surprising to see how one person can lead a life so different from the other, even if only one choice is different. Is this only a science fiction story, or could it happen in the real world? But I believe that the two men lived happy lives, even though the process of their lives was extremely different. I wonder what people who have seen these two films think about them.

To the One Who Loved You" Director: Kenichi Kasawi
If you could have a glimpse of a world you did not choose, what kind of world would you like to see? Perhaps I should think more about not making a mistake in this world that I have chosen, but I am free to imagine it. May this world be moving toward a world full of rich imagination.
