Switch "Pokémon Scarlet Violet" launches November 18! Includes new Pokémon and the latest video!

The release date for the Nintendo Switch games "Pokémon Scarlet" and "Pokémon Violet" has been set for November 18, 2022. New information and videos have been released.

Pokémon Scarlet and Violet" is a completely new RPG in the Pokémon series that everyone from children to adults can enjoy, allowing players to explore a richly expressed world in an open world for the first time in the series, while retaining the true joy of battling and capturing Pokémon.

Pre-orders for the packaged version will begin on August 4, 2022 (Thursday), while the Nintendo eShop is accepting pre-orders for the downloadable version starting today. The package design, the latest PV, and game screens were also revealed.

The package depicts the legendary Pokémon "Korideon" and "Myraidon," which will newly appear in this title. The title logo also appears in foil with a motif of the two creatures, like the cover of an old book, giving a sense of the beginning of the story. The two Pokémon are said to be far more powerful than other Pokémon, but their ecology seems to be shrouded in mystery.

Free adventure in an open world
Meeting Pokémon, making friends, battling, raising, and exchanging Pokémon. The best parts of the series have been preserved, and now the adventures have evolved even further. The new adventure style that can be experienced in the field where you can run around freely is a new adventure style in which there is no set order to the storyline.
In addition to the journey to improve your skills as a Pokémon trainer, there are many other discoveries and stories waiting for you. Meet various people and Pokémon, and explore the world of "Pokémon" as you wish.

■Multiplayer experience for an even deeper experience
Multiplayer play is possible with up to four players in this title. In addition to exchanging Pokémon and playing against each other as in previous titles in the series, you can also explore various locations in the field together with other players.
Encountering Pokémon for the first time and exploring unknown fields with friends and family will make your adventures even more fun and irreplaceable.

■New Pokémon you can meet
Pamo the Mouse Pokémon, Gruton the Buta Pokémon, and Miniv the Olive Pokémon.

Two different Pokémon doctors for each version
For the first time in the series, two different Pokémon doctors will appear in this title, depending on the software version.
In "Pokémon Scarlet" we meet Olimp and in "Pokémon Violet" we meet Futu. Both of them seem to be researching a certain legend of the area.

Nemo, a skilled Pokémon trainer
Nemo, the main character's friend, has a cheerful and energetic personality and loves Pokemon battles. As a senior Pokémon trainer, he is a dependable leader of the main character.
He is a skilled Pokémon fighter, but in fact, he is not very good at throwing the monster ball.
