studio Pierrot's official YouTube channel is now open! Popular works such as "Osomatsu-kun" and "Creamy Mami, the Magic Angel" are released one after another!

PIERO's official YouTube channel was launched on Wednesday, June 1, 2022, and began distributing popular anime works.

PIERO is an animation production company established in 1979. The company has produced a wide range of animations loved by people of all ages, including such national hits as "Naruto," "Osomatsu-san," "YuYu Hakusho," "Hikaru no Go," "Bleach," "Midori no Makibao," and "Creamy Mami, the Magic Angel.

On the official YouTube channel of "studio Pierrot," "Hikaru no Go" broadcast 20th anniversary special PV and "Nils no Fushigi na Tabi Episode 1" will be released from June 1 (Wed.) as the first part. In addition, "Creamy Mami, the Magic Angel" OVA (Original Video Animation) series will be premiered for four weeks in a row from June 3 (Fri.).

Each work will be available for a limited time only, and the number of works to be distributed will continue to increase.

Synopsis of the films to be distributed

The Mysterious Journey of Nils

Nils, a mischievous boy from a farming village in southern Sweden, is enchanted by a fairy he catches in his room, and together with his hamster, Carrot, they are magically made smaller. The smaller Nils learns to understand the language of animals, but the livestock he bullies on a daily basis get even with him and he runs away. He is teased by a flock of geese, and jumps on a goose, Morten, who is about to take off into the sky....
Nils, together with Carrot and Molten, gets caught up in the migration of the flock of geese and sets off for Lapland, where the flock spends the summer. Through various encounters, the boy grows as a human being.
This is the first memorable animated TV series produced by PIERO.

Osomatsu-kun

Born to an ordinary salaryman and a housewife are the Osomatsu brothers, six children who look exactly alike. The family is a bit complicated even by themselves, but the people who live around them are all complicated looking and acting like Kyoretsu, including Iyami, a self-proclaimed French returnee whose trademark is his bucktooth, Dekapan, who struts around wearing only striped pants, and Chibita, the world's biggest oden lover. They have no connection to national borders or time lines! They take over not only the town, but even the world of the story, and go on a rampage of their own! This is the first anime series in 22 years based on Fujio Akatsuka's masterpiece manga of the same title, which is full of heartwarming gags and sometimes heartbreaking stories.

Magic Angel: Creamy Mami

The main character, Yu Morisawa, is a very energetic 10-year-old girl who loves her childhood friend Toshio. One day, in return for her accidental rescue of "Feather Star's Boat" caught in a dream storm, the fairy Pinopino gives her a "wish-fulfilling magic" with a one-year time limit.
The magic spell transforms her into a wonderful woman, and she is enthusiastically scouted by Shingo Tachibana, the young president of an entertainment agency, whom she met by chance, and is to debut as an idol singer, Creamy Mami. On the other hand, Toshio is crazy about the idol Mami and treats Yuu like a child. Unable to reveal her true identity, Yu's one-year double life has begun!
In this issue, we present all four OVA series released after the program ended.

Gakko no Kaidan (School Ghost Stories)

After the death of their mother, fifth grader Satsuki Miyanoshita and her younger brother Keiichiro, both first graders, move to their parents' hometown and are transferred to "Amanogawa Elementary School," which their parents also attended.
On their first day at the school, Satsuki and her younger brother, Keiichiro, discover their mother's diary in the old school building, which is no longer in use and is a famous haunted place. In the diary, Satsuki and her friends discover her mother's diary, which describes the ghosts and goblins that she had put into "rei-sleep," or "containment," in the past. However, the large cedar tree on the hill behind the house that contained them has been cut down for development!
Satsuki and her friends have to put the ghosts, who have been freed and started attacking humans, back into spirit sleep based on this "Obake Diary"...
