New "PlayStation Plus" service starts today! Wild Arms, Siren, and Other Classic Titles Revealed!

Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) launched a major renewal of its subscription game service "PlayStation Plus" in Japan today, June 2.

PS Plus is a subscription service provided by SIE. PS Plus is a subscription service provided by SIE that offers "free play" of popular games at no extra charge, "online multiplayer" that allows users to play against other players around the world or cooperate with them, and other content and services exclusive to subscribers, such as discounts on eligible titles.

The renewed PS Plus, which launched today, integrates the services currently available through PlayStation Now into PS Plus, offering a wide variety of high-quality content at three levels of plans.

Play hundreds of classic games, including "Wild Arms" and "Siren: New Translation!
PlayStation Plus Premium (Deluxe in some countries and regions) allows users to play popular classic titles. Some titles feature improved frame rates and higher image quality compared to the original launch versions.

Several original PlayStation and PSP classic titles also feature new user interfaces, such as the ability to save the game at any time and a menu that allows users to rewind the game when they want to start over.


Some of the original PlayStation titles can also be purchased individually from the PS Store. Those who have previously purchased the digital (original) versions of these titles can download the PS4 and PS5 (Classics) versions for a discounted price of 100 yen without having to subscribe to PlayStation Plus.

The catalog also features popular PS4/PS5 titles such as "Ghost of Tsushima Director's Cut" and "Assassin's Creed: Valhalla," so be sure to look for your favorite titles.
