Thai restaurant "Siam Shokudo Akihabara" has been in business since June 1!

The Thai restaurant "Siam Shokudo Akihabara" has been in operation since June 1 (Wed.). The location is behind "Laox Akihabara Main Store" and in front of "Kikura Foods," a vending machine store with dialogue. It is located behind "Laox Akihabara Main Store" in front of "Kikura Shokuhin," a vending machine store with a dialogue, on the former site of "Toriman," an izakaya that closed in 2020.

The first Siam Shokudo restaurant, Siam Shokudo Yushima, is currently operating at the Tenjinshita intersection in Yushima. At this Thai restaurant, you can enjoy authentic Thai cuisine prepared by staff trained at the main restaurant in Thailand, as well as Singha draft beer and Thai wine, which are rare in Japan.

The second "Siam Shokudo" restaurant, "Siam Shokudo Akihabara" opened on June 1 (Wed.) as a takeout/delivery restaurant, offering "Gapao rice" with fried egg on top of spicy stir-fried minced meat, "Green curry" with chicken and bamboo shoots based on homemade curry paste, and "Tomato curry" with chicken and bamboo shoots. The menu includes "Gapao Rice" with spicy stir-fried minced meat and fried egg, "Green Curry" with chicken and bamboo shoots based on homemade curry paste, and "Tom Yam Kung Noodle", a noodle soup with rice noodles in Tom Yam Kung soup.


To commemorate the opening, the restaurant is also running a campaign offering lunch boxed lunches for 600 yen instead of the usual 680 yen. According to the restaurant's Facebook page, "We will continue to sell lunch bento boxes for 600 yen every day until the end of the opening period.
