The first season of the TV series aired in 2015, followed by the second season the following year and a completely new movie in 2019! The "Hibike! Euphonium" is an anime work based on an entertainment novel by Ayano Takeda (published by Takarajima-sha), and is a coming-of-age story about the female members of a high school brass band. The second season of the TV series aired in October 2016, followed in April 2016 by the anime film "Sound the Movie: Euphonium - Kitauji High School," which reconstructed the first season of the TV series! Euphonium ~Welcome to Kita-Uji High School Brass Band Club~" was released in April 2016, and in September 2017, "Sound the Movie! Euphonium ~Deliver Me Melody~," which is a reconstruction of the second season of the TV series, is currently in theaters. In addition, Ayano Takeda's novel "Hibike!
