New cast and PV of new anime "Our Master Has No Tail" including Akira Ishida! Rakugo fantasy produced by Leiden Film

Additional cast members and the second PV have been released from the TV anime "My Master Has No Tail," which will air this fall.

Our Master Has No Tail" is currently being serialized by TNSK in good! It is a Taisho Kamigata Rakugo fantasy depicting the growth of Mameda (CV. M.A.O.), a girl with a bean raccoon who aspires to become a rakugo storyteller, and her master Daikokutei Bunko (CV. Hibiki Yamamura) and their teacher-disciple love. The director is Hideyo Yamamoto of "Hataraku Cell BLACK" etc.

The TV anime will begin airing in October 2022 on TOKYO MX, MBS, and BS Asahi. As additional cast members, Ayana Taketatsu will play the role of Enshi Kirino, one of the "Four Heavenly Kings" of Kamigata Rakugo, Akira Ishida will play the role of Utaroku Ebisuya, another of the Four Heavenly Kings, and Junichi Suwabe will play the role of Buntori Daikokutei, a Rakugo performer and master of Daikokutei Bunko. The second PV will feature Daikokutei Bunko's master, Daikokutei Bunka.

In the second PV, all of the "Four Heavenly Kings" of Kamigata Rakugo appear, including Daikokutei Bunko (CV. Yamamura Hibiki), Tsubaki Hakudanji (CV. Eguchi Takuya), Kiri no Enshi, and Ebisuya Utaroku. The masters of Kamigata Rakugo have gathered together, and we look forward to seeing what kind of Rakugo they will perform in this episode.

TV Animation PV Vol. 2

The latest volume of the original comic, volume 8, will be released on June 7, 2012, so be sure to check it out along with the rest of the TV anime.
