Anime "Gaket Kegurui-Sou" PV and additional cast members including Riyo Takahashi revealed! Produced by MAPPA, to be distributed on Netflix on August 4

Key visuals, a music video, and additional cast members have been revealed for the anime "Gaket Kegurui-Sou," which will be distributed exclusively worldwide as a Netflix series on August 4.

Gaket Kegurui" began serialization in "Gan Gun JOKER" in 2014. MAPPA adapted "Kake Kegurui" in 2017 and "Kake Kegurui xx" in 2019 for TV anime. Live-action dramas and movies have also gained popularity.

The setting of this "Gaket Kegurui-Sou" (original story by Homura Kawamoto and Katsura Saiki) is a school one year before Yumeko transferred to the new school. Meari Saotome (CV. Mimi Tanaka), an ordinary girl, is a prequel to "Kette Kegurui-" and begins when she is admitted to the school.

The PV shows the encounter between Meari and Hanatemari Tsuzura, who is living as a "domestic animal" after losing at gambling, and how the two confront the chaos of the gambling-controlled school and are tossed about.

In addition, "Queens Bluff," sung by i☆Ris, has been chosen as the ED. The catchy melody of the song is accompanied by the lyrics "Survive through gambling," "Don't trust, don't doubt," "Don't flirt, don't crowd," and "Don't be a fool. Don't crowd. Don't be dominated. The song is interspersed with such keywords as "Live through gambling," "Trust, doubt," and "Don't flirt, don't crowd, don't dominate.

In a psychedelic world where there is no top, bottom, left or right, the "powerless" Meari Saotome (CV. Mimi Tanaka), Tsuruzura Hanatemari (CV. Rina Motozumi), Yukimi Togakushi (CV. Leaf Daichi), Student Council Officer and Discipline Committee Chairman Sachiko Juraku (CV. Yuko Kaita) and her livestock, Sakura Sado (CV. Sado Mikura (CV. Aoi Koga), Student Council Executive Officer Aoi Mibuomi (CV. Seiichiro Yamashita) and Student Council Beautification Committee Chair Sakira Miharutaki (CV. Liyi Takahashi). The characters are represented as winners and losers, who are at the mercy of gambling, which can turn the tables in an instant.
