BANDAI SPIRITS and TOMY join forces to launch a dream collaboration project "Dream Together! Chogokin x ZOIDS" and "Tomica x Mobile Suit Gundam" to be released in 2023

BANDAI SPIRITS and Takara Tomy announced that the first collaboration project between the two companies, "Dream Together- Connecting Thoughts, Creating Dreams Together," will begin in June 2022.

The two companies, which are engaged in friendly competition, will combine their strengths to transcend barriers. The two companies plan to release collaborative products that combine their respective product brands and popular content, hold events, and produce original promotional videos.

The collaboration products include "Chogokin x ZOIDS," a three-dimensional version of the real moving kit series "ZOIDS" (Takara Tomy, born in 1983) featuring dinosaurs and animals in the world of the die-cast toy series "Chogokin" (BANDAI SPIRITS, born in 1974), The "Tomica x Mobile Suit Gundam" series will reproduce the animation series "Mobile Suit Gundam" (born in 1979), which has been broadcast for over 40 years in the world of the die-cast miniature car series "Tomica" (born in 1970 by Takara Tomy). By combining two product brands and contents that have been loved for more than 30 years, a new attraction never seen before will be created.

The two companies have been in close communication for many years, hoping to one day work together to create an interesting collaboration that will bring dreams and surprises to customers and the industry. The product is a close reproduction of the setting of the "Mobile Suit Gundam" anime, in order to give it a Gundam-like appearance, while not compromising the size and safety that have always been a priority for the Tomica series. In order to reproduce the White Base in the size of a Tomica, the number of parts used is larger than that of a standard Tomica, so as not to spoil its unique detailing.

Chogokin" (BANDAI SPIRITS Co., Ltd.)

This is a product brand of BANDAI SPIRITS that reproduces robots and heroes using composite materials including die-castings.
The brand was named after "Mazinger Z," the first product to be commercialized in 1974, which was "made of Chogokin Z" in the anime. The company has released more than 500 products to date.
