Visitors who have already been to "GUNDAM FACTORY YOKOHAMA," which is becoming more and more powerful, as well as those who have not yet visited can enjoy this event.

Various events unique to GFY will be held!

1) "Moving Gundam" special presentation "RX-78F00HMT (Hi-Mat)" continues.

The concept of the moving Gundam at GFY is that "parts excavated in Yokohama are combined and tested for activation. The special performance "F00 /AI Awakening!" that had been held since January this year was designed to make visitors feel the connection with the "Mobile Suit Gundam" animation.

In response to the visitors' comments, it has been decided that the special performance will be continued in addition to the regular experimental performance of the startup. This special performance depicted an episode during the experimentation of the "RX-78F00HMT," which was reconstructed based on the concept of a "moving Gundam" with higher mobility and enhanced armament, The HMT is designed to have improved performance by adding simple attachable armor, auxiliary verniers, and additional armaments.

New "moving Gundam" effects are scheduled to be developed in the future.

At the "ACADEMY," where visitors can enjoy learning about the mechanism of movement, the HMT configuration will be on display, and a new HMT-specification Gunpla "1/144 RX78F00 HMT Gundam High Mobility Type" will be on sale from July 16 (Saturday) for 2,530 yen (including 10% tax).
The 18-meter "moving Gundam" is not equipped with HMT armament.

2) "PROLOGUE," a prequel to "Mobile Suit Gundam: Witches of Mercury," screened at the GFY Conference Room!

GFY will screen "PROLOGUE," a prequel to the latest TV animation of the Gundam series "Mobile Suit Gundam: Witches of Mercury," at its conference room from July 16 (Sat) to July 31 (Sun), 2022.
The screening schedule will be announced later on the official website.

Participation in this event is free of charge. Admission to "GUNDAM FACTORY YOKOHAMA" requires a separate admission fee.
*There is a limit to the number of people who can participate. Depending on the situation, numbered tickets may be distributed or admission may be cancelled.

Special uchiwa (fans) commemorating the re-opening will be given away from July 16 (Sat.)!

From July 16 (Sat.), visitors will receive a special fan to commemorate the re-opening. A summer fair and other events are also planned to further enliven "GUNDAM FACTORY YOKOHAMA" in the summer.

GUNDAM NEXT FUTURE LINK THE UNIVERSE

The first event in the history of life-size Gundam, in which all three of the world's standing Gundam statues and the "Moving Gundam" in Yokohama will be linked in real time.
This is the first attempt to simultaneously link the "Moving Gundam" in Yokohama, the "life-size Unicorn Gundam standing statue" in Daiba, the "life-size Freedom Gundam standing statue" in Shanghai, and the "life-size Nu New Gundam standing statue" in Fukuoka with background music and laser effects from Gundam works, allowing visitors to enjoy a new production with a sense of scale.

In addition, the scenes from "LINK THE UNIVERSE" on Thursday, July 14 and Friday, July 15 can be viewed online at "THE GUNDAM BASE VIRTUAL WORLD," a comprehensive space for virtual Gundam model kits entertainment.
