Kane Cosugi, whose appearance in the film version was announced on the 19th, also appears in the film as Azuma, the man who made a contract with Gif. I was really happy when I was chosen to appear in the spin-off distribution drama "Birth of Chimera"!
I am a member of the Toei Special Effects Fan Club, so I was thrilled to think that I was going to be a part of it, and I was determined to do my best. I was also honored to be able to work with Seiji Takaiwa, who plays the father, and I was happy to be able to talk with him between takes!
There were many difficult scenes, but I learned a lot on the set, and I think it was a time when I was able to grow as a person and as a person of hope! I hope that the audience will be able to feel Otani Hope's love for her family and her sense of justice through this film!
Please look forward to "Birth of Chimera"!

Shohei Hashimoto
The world of Masked Rider is one that every boy dreams of. I am truly honored to be able to appear in a work that transcends gender and age barriers and continues to be loved by a wide range of people.
I am very happy just to be a part of this work, but now...I am going to transform myself. I want to be a hero. The dream I have had since I was a child has become a reality.
This time I will play the role of Ryu Mukai, a young man with a strong sense of justice who dreams of becoming a hero.
I have taken on the challenge of playing a role that reflects the feelings I had back then.
I really enjoyed every minute I spent on the set, and it was like a treasured time.
This story will lead to the movie version.
I hope you will watch "Birth of Chimera" and get more deeply into the movie version.

■Kane Kosugi
It has been my dream for a long time to appear in Kamen Rider, so when I was asked to do the role, I was so happy that I jumped up and down! I was also honored to be asked to work again with director Koichi Sakamoto, with whom I worked as a teenager and with whom I have evolved the action in films such as "Guyver".
I was very much looking forward to working with the members who appeared in "Kakuranger" in "Birth of Chimera" for the first time in 20 years.
However, while I was happy to be back at Toei, I was also worried about whether I could live up to everyone's expectations after 28 years had passed since I appeared in "Kakuranger. Even so, I did my best to play the role of a hero.
I hope that as many of you as possible will enjoy "Birth of Chimera!
