From the fourth series of the TV anime "Kingdom," the characters and theme song for the second season have been announced. In addition, a "Summer Kingdom Festival" will be held from July.

Kingdom" (authored by Yasuhisa Hara) is a Chinese Warring States epic romance about a boy, Nobu (CV: Seiichi Morita), who aims to become a great general under the heaven, and a young king, Yosei (CV: Jun Fukuyama), who later becomes the first emperor of Japan. The second live-action movie will be released on July 15, 2022.

The fourth series of the TV anime "Kingdom," which airs every Saturday from 24:00 on NHK Sogo, will enter a new chapter, "Iyi Province Rebellion," in July. Character visuals of Daimyo (CV: KINOMI TSUBOI) and eunuch Yiran (CV: Takayuki SAKAZUME), who will be the key persons in the series, have been released.

Empress Dowager is the mother of the 31st King of Qin, Yu Zheng, and reigns at the top of the court forces. She is a powerful figure who is on par with Huajei, Lu Fwei, and others. The eunuch who serves Empress Dowager is a fake eunuch infiltrated by Lu Biwei of Sangguo.

In the year of the "crowning ceremony," the coming-of-age ceremony in which Yosei declares himself the "31st King of the Qin Dynasty," both at home and abroad, the long struggle for power between Yosei and Lu Biwei is finally coming to an end in the "Iyi Province Rebellion.

OP theme and ED theme have been decided!

Two up-and-coming artists have been chosen as the artists for the OP and ED themes that will color the second season! The OP theme is "geki" by zonji, a "home-based music unit" that produces almost all processes related to activities such as music production and video production in-house, under the slogan of "putting all moods to music". The theme song is "Believe" sung by Misaki, a 19-year-old singer from Nagasaki Prefecture with a unique mixed voice and fist, and a fragile, ephemeral voice.

Don't miss the full-size versions of "geki" and "Believe," which will be available on July 20 and July 22, respectively, through various music distribution services.

Kingdom Festival in Summer" will be held!

As the fourth series enters the second half of its run, the "Summer Kingdom Festival" will be held in July, featuring weekly special events such as re-transmissions of past TV anime series and collaborative projects with three game app companies.

On the official anime Twitter, a look back on the famous scenes from the 4th series "Seongju no Hen" and "Battle of Bokyong" will also be held, and there will be a chance to win novelties that are not for sale.
