I am convinced that the third season will be very lively!" Aina Suzuki, who plays Evil God Girl, also praised the fun of the show! Report on "Jyakami-chan Dropkick X" Episode 1 Advance Screening Event "The Gathering of the Evil Gods Just Before the Broadcast Special

In July 2022, "Evil God Girl" will return for its third anime season as "Evil God Girl Dropkick X"!

Based on the popular comic "Jyakami-chan Dropkick," which has been serialized in "COMIC Meteo" by Yukio since 2012. The comedy anime depicts the dangerous and funny cohabitation of Evil God, a demon from the demon world, and Hanazono Yurine, a college student who summoned her.

The first TV anime season aired in 2018, with the second season starting in 2020. In addition to raising over 67 million yen in crowdfunding for the third season, the company has taken unprecedented steps such as producing a local anime as a return gift for tax payments made by four municipalities (Kushiro, Obihiro, Furano, and Minamishimabara), selling naming rights for the title, and publicly soliciting voice actors for the role of new character Ekuto. The company has continued to make its presence felt as an outlier in the animation industry with such unprecedented efforts.

Finally, the third season of "Jyakami-chan Dropkick X" began broadcasting and distribution this past July. There is no doubt that Japan will once again be engulfed in the Evil God whirlwind.

On June 18, 2022, the event "Gathering of Evil Gods: Just before the Broadcast Special" was held at AKIBA CULTURES ZONE on the 4th floor to watch the just-completed first episode with the cast and other people involved.

Members of the "Gathering of the Evil Gods" gathered at the venue! They enjoyed watching the first episode and talking with Aina Suzuki, who plays Evil Girl, Himasa Omori, who plays Yurine Hanazono, Misae Komori, who plays Persephone I, and Koichiro Natsume, the executive producer.

The event started with a behind-the-scenes talk by the cast about the recording session.

Advertising producer Kazuki Yanase asked, "What was different between the recording of the second and third seasons? Omori replied, "We went to many different places. The third season was a collaboration with the four municipalities of Kushiro, Obihiro, Furano, and Minamishimabara. Since local episodes were produced, Omori says that the third season is characterized by the various places visited in the play.

Aina Suzuki

In addition, the content of the collaboration episodes does not exist in the original work, which means that the ratio of anime original elements will inevitably increase in the third season. For this reason, the cast members "looked forward to opening the script each time" (Omori).

Suzuki, on the other hand, said, "Furano was amazing! I couldn't stop laughing. Mr. Yanase agreed, "I can't wait to show it to you! Yanase agreed wholeheartedly, "I can't wait to show it to you! We are looking forward to the broadcast.

Mr. Himasa Omori

Mr. Natsume, the executive producer, said, "There were intermittent cases of corona infection in the animation studio, so it was very difficult at the production site. Normally, we would visit the studio before the completion of the production, but we were unable to do so this time, so we all pooled our money together to send food and snacks, even if it was just for our feelings. Even the manager couldn't go to the recording studio, so it was a lonely recording studio," he said, describing the hardships of the animation production site at Corona Disaster.

Under such difficult circumstances, the first episode, which was completed with all the efforts of each staff member, was finally shown to the public.

Mr. Suzuki and Mr. Omori in their seats.

Perfect (?) Unanimity!

Mr. Suzuki, Mr. Omori, and Ms. Komori were also viewing the completed version for the first time, so they decided to watch it together with the wicked.

The content of the film is something you will have to see for yourself on the broadcast and distribution, but in a nutshell, it was "laughter and violence as usual," which is safe (?) even if you are not a fan of the film. The result is dangerous. The cast and the evil people were also excited to see the guest appearance of an already-announced character and the over-the-top direction of the anime's original elements, which added to the already hilarious episode!

As soon as the screening was over, the audience was filled with thunderous applause.

Ms. Misae Komori

Ms. Komori commented, "I'm still confused because it was so outlandish from the beginning (laughs).

Ms. Omori was also really happy that her favorite episode in the original story suddenly appeared in the first episode. Mr. Suzuki said, "I'm anxious for the second episode." He and the other panelists talked about the first episode, which ended with an exquisite pull.

After the screening, the OP "This and that Drastic feat. Aina Suzuki" sung by halca and the ED "Streamlined Mayday" by virtual singer Hanafu in collaboration with voice synthesizing software KAFU were performed. The two songs, "Linear Mayday," were specially released in part.

Mr. Suzuki, who collaborated with halca, said, "I realized how great halca is. The tempo is fast, and one of halca's charms is her high range, so I was recording in front of her and had to catch up with her. ...... (I was out of breath). But if I stopped, I wouldn't be able to sing, so I sang all the way through.

A video message from Hanafu also arrived.

The song is a wonderful pop song that fits perfectly with the fast-paced but lighthearted daily lives of the Evil Gods. I paid special attention to the facial expressions that can be heard in the song.

At the end of the event, it was announced that the exhibition "Yagami Chan Ten" would be held as a major summer project. This event will be held to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the original comic and the start of the broadcast of "Jyakami-chan Dropkick X." Many original drawings, storyboards and other production materials used in the anime will be on display.

The event will be held from August 9 (Tuesday) to September 11 (Sunday), 2022. The venue is Marui Kinshicho Store. Admission is free, so please come and visit the exhibition.

Finally, Komori-san, who was attending the "Evil Girl" event for the first time, commented, "There was so much information that I wondered if it was really one episode, and after it was over, I couldn't keep up with my feelings, but I guess this is the Evil Girl style.

He seemed to have been baptized by the overly service-oriented "Evil God-chan" event, and his excitement was not abating.

Mr. Omori also commented on the highlights of the third season, saying, "I think this is the third season where we go out of Jimbocho and go to various places and have more fun with everyone! Mr. Suzuki added, "There were many things that were difficult to do because of the limited recording time, but I think you will see more powerful Evil Gods in the third season than in the first and second seasons, and I hope you will look forward to seeing where the new characters will appear. I would like you to look forward to seeing where the new characters will appear in the third season. (After watching the first episode) I am convinced that the third season will be very lively! I am sure that the third season of "Jyakami-chan Dropkick X" will be very lively!

For all you anime fans out there who are wondering, "I don't know which anime I should watch next season! You are a lost anime fan who says, "I don't know which anime I should watch next season! Why don't you just watch "Jyakami-chan Dropkick X" and become a Jyakamist! And you can become an evil person too!
