Porting the trilogy of the "Ray Series" of shooting games! Taito "Ray's Arcade Chronology" to be released!

Ray's Arcade Chronology" for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 will be released by Taito in 2023.

Ray's Arcade Chronology" is a faithful port of the three arcade versions of the "Ray Series": "Ray Force," "Ray Storm," and "Ray Crisis. In addition, two of the 3D rendered titles have been upgraded to higher resolutions, making for an omnibus game software package containing a total of five versions of the three "Rey" titles.

M2 is in charge of the porting of all titles, and plans to add various "gadget" displays useful for game strategy, as well as save/load functions during the game.

Details of the included titles
Ray Force
The first title in the series, the arcade version of which was released in 1994. The first title in the series, "OPERATION RAYFORCE," is a shooting game that seamlessly unfolds from the start of the game to the final stage, in which a small mobile weapon, "X-LAY," is sent into the center of a planet to destroy the "Con-Human" neuro-network system that has turned against humanity.
Although the platform is an F3 board with only 2D rendering capability, the game is constructed in 3D with a game system and presentation centering on the "lock-on laser".

■ Ray Storm
The second title in the series, released in 1996, was an overhead 3D-drawing shooter based on the FX system platform. The player can choose from two types of aircraft with different performance and playability: "R-GRAY1," which can lock on to up to eight targets and "R-GRAY2," which can lock on to up to 16 targets, as in the previous title "X-LAY. A total of eight stages of battle are depicted.
The worldview is different from the other two games, with the battle between the future "Earth" and the radical colonial planetary nation "Cecilia Union.

■Raystorm NEO-HD
A high-resolution version of the arcade version of "Raystorm," "Raystorm HD" was released in 2010 with additional elements and a 16:9 screen ratio, but this game has the same content and 4:3 screen ratio as the arcade version. For this reason, the title was also changed to "~NEO-HD.

Ray Crisis
This is the third title in the series, the arcade version of which was released in 1998. It is compatible with the "G-NET" system board. The game depicts a battle inside a virtual space in which players use the connection medium "Wave Rider" to enter the neuro-network system "Con-Human," which has lost control, and transcend the realms of intelligence, memory, emotion, consciousness, and thought to stop its rampage before the erosion rate reaches 100%.
The game is a prequel to "Ray Force," and by completing certain conditions, the ending of the game will lead to the same storyline.

Ray Crisis HD
