The TV anime "Kami Kuzu☆Idol," which will start airing on July 1 (Fri.), has released a synopsis of the first episode, scene cuts, and the cast's backstage talk show.

The original story is an idol comedy manga serialized in "Monthly Comic ZERO-SUM" by Mr. Eliki Isofurabon. Yuya Niyodo, a scrappy idol with a nice face but no motivation, meets the ghost of legendary god idol Asahi Mogami and decides to become the top idol by "possessing" her. The story is popular for its unique idols and fans' joys and sorrows, and won the third place in the "Next Coming Manga Grand Prize" in 2019.

The TV anime will finally start airing on July 1 (Fri.) on TV Tokyo and other stations. The synopsis of the first episode and advance scene cuts have been released.

In addition, "Kami Kuzu☆Idol Backstage Talk," a mini talk show featuring the cast of the show, has started. In STGE.01, Fumiya Imai (Yuya Niyodo), Nao Higashiyama (Asahi Mogami), and Shun Horie (Kazuki Yoshino) talk about the highlights of the first episode from the booth right after the recording session.

The faces are good. But they don't sing or dance. No fans.
Yuya Niyodo is a scrappy idol who has no motivation at all.
He stepped into the entertainment industry for money, but Niyodo is so unenthusiastic that he is finally fired by the president. But then Niyodo has a chance encounter with a god idol.
