The TV anime "Hataraku Maou-sama! has released a synopsis of the first episode and preceding scene cuts.

Based on the popular Dengeki Bunko series by Satoshi Wagahara, which has been completed in 21 volumes. The long-awaited second season will be broadcast this summer, eight years after the first TV anime season. The long-awaited second season will be broadcast this summer.

The second season of the TV anime "Hataraku Maou-sama! will finally begin airing on July 14 (Thu), starting every week (Thu) at 23:30 on TOKYO MX and BS11, every week (Sat) at 26:38 on MBS, and every week (Fri) at 21:30 on AT-X.
(Distribution will be simultaneously on terrestrial TV and exclusive all-you-can-watch distribution on Disney Plus "Star").

The first episode of the series will be broadcast on AT-X at 26:38 and 21:30 every Friday.

The synopsis and advance cutscenes are as follows.
Episode 1 "The Demon King Cries Out to Sasazuka
Sadao Maoku, the Demon King, Shiro Ashiya, the Demon General, and Hanzo Urushibara live in a six-tatami mat apartment. While Ashiya is lamenting over the tight household finances caused by the NEET Urushibara, Maoku senses the presence of something in the shoe box.
Meanwhile, Emi Yusa, a brave woman, visits Suzuno Kamatsuki, a councilor of the Revisionist Council, who lives in the room next door to Mutsu's. Chiho Sasaki, a high school girl who works at the same office as Mutsu, is asked by Suzuno to welcome the Bon Festival.
After finishing her part-time job, Chiho and Mutsu head for her apartment.
