The TV anime "Made in Abyss: Golden Land of the Rising Sun," which began airing on July 6 (Wed.) on TOKYO MX and other stations, has released a synopsis and advance scene cuts for the second episode.

Made in Abyss" is a dark fantasy serialized in "Comic Gamma" by Akihito Tsukushi. The 2017 TV anime drew a lot of attention for the gap between its cute design and extreme depiction. The second season of the TV anime was also screened in January 2020. This work is the second season of the TV anime.

The synopsis of the second episode of the TV anime and preceding scene cuts have now been released. The web radio distribution will start on July 11 (Mon.).


The synopsis and advance cuts are as follows.
Episode 2 "The City of No Return
After a fierce battle with Bondordo, Rico Reg Nanachi finally arrives at the sixth layer of the deep world after the "Last Dive," in which he is told that he will never return. Rico observes with great interest the structures and creatures he has never seen before. He again writes a letter to his friends at the orphanage and sends a message ship, but it is intercepted by a gigantic protozoan before his eyes.
Meanwhile, a suspicious shadow creeps up behind Rico and his friends as they continue their exploration.
