Tales Weaver: SecondRun" is a new version of the PC version of "Tales Weaver," which celebrates its 18th anniversary in Japan in 2022, with even more power-up elements. New content, graphics, and story based on the fantasy novel "Children of Runes" have been added, as well as new combat elements and storyline, and new visual and sound elements have been added.

Introduction of the game


New combat elements "skill" and "co-op" have been added!

The "co-op battle" system has been implemented to evolve the combat of the PC version of "Tales Weaver" and make it easier to enjoy on a smartphone. Players can form a party in advance and fight together, or try to break into a boss that other players are challenging.

In addition, five types of skills can be acquired and equipped in battle: "Support," "Attack Increase," "Limit Break," "Ability Enhancement," and "Finish. The "Finish Skill" in particular is visually appealing, with its spectacular effects.


Newly added character stories and parallel stories

Sub-stories have been added to the PC version of "Tales Weaver" that allow players to learn more about the playable characters, NPCs, and monsters, which were never told in the PC version.
In addition, periodic limited-time events are scheduled to be held periodically, which will include stories that are outside of "Tales Weaver" and parallel stories that occur in a different time line and under different circumstances than the main story.

■Contents powered up from the PC version

The main story based on the novel "Children of the Runes" and the system in which the story progresses through the actions and conversations of the characters will be retained. In addition, character voices, which were not included in the PC version of "Tales Weaver," will be implemented, allowing players to enjoy the main story in full voice.

The four playable characters in the main story are played by the splendid voice cast of Shun Horie (Lucien), Kaito Ishikawa (Boris), Natsuori Ishihara (Titiel), and Mariya Ise (Mira).
Only a portion of the game will be implemented at the time of the pre-test.


Preliminary Test Participation Outline

In preparation for the launch of "Tales Weaver: SecondRun" in Japan, the company has begun accepting applications for participation in an advance test aimed at adjusting game balance and verifying server load.
In addition to being able to play "Tales Weaver: SecondRun" early, participants will be able to take part in a survey and Twitter campaign to win presents in a drawing after the start of the preliminary test play.
