3goo will release a consumer version of the popular fighting series "The Rumble Fish"! The second title is the first home port

A consumer version of the fighting game series "The Rumble Fish" will be released worldwide by 3goo. Comments and videos have arrived.

Developed by Dimps, "The Rumble Fish" is a fighting game with an arcade version developed in 2004. The following year, an arcade version, "The Rumble Fish 2," was released with a new game system and characters.

The game's smooth 2D rendering using S.M.A. (Smooth Model Animation), appealing characters, and advanced tactics using two types of gauges made it popular, and it is still so popular that tournaments are held to this day.

3goo, which has released "Dead by Daylight" and "Gear Club Unlimited 2," has announced that it will release a consumer version of this series in the winter of 2022. The second title, "The Rumble Fish 2," will be the first home port of the game, as it has never been released outside of Japan.

The Rumble Fish" is a memorable title for Dimps. Dimps developed this 2D fighting game for the Atomis Wave arcade system board developed by Sammy Corporation. Although it may seem somewhat classic by today's fighting game standards, we are proud to say that it is an ambitious title that made full use of various ideas for image expression within the constraints of the system board nearly 20 years ago. We hope that 3goo Inc. will shine the spotlight on us once again and that the new possibilities of this "The Rumble Fish" series will expand once again.

The disaster obliterated the economic center of the country and toppled high-rise buildings in a wide area leading to the capital functions, resulting in a massive loss of life of 158,000 people.

Early in the 21st century... The joint venture PROBE-NEXUS (a.k.a. PROBE) begins a reconstruction project in the eastern part of a certain country. Probe relocates its own management base to the collapsed area and establishes a huge corporate management city. With vast assets and cutting-edge technology poured into the city like water, the modern Babylon is formed with skyscrapers that surpass former skyscrapers, the world's largest market mall, and entertainment facilities that could easily be mistaken for a theme park. Named Zone Prime, it was a symbol of the new century and its spectacular birth.

And now, in the underdeveloped area located in its western block - commonly known as the slum area....
