Mobile Suit Gundam: Witches of Mercury" prequel "PROLOGUE" premieres! Full-length trailer PV, main cast information, and new products are also announced!

The Bandai Namco Group's cross-cutting project "Gundam Project" premiered "PROLOGUE," a prequel to "Mobile Suit Gundam: Witch of Mercury" at the "Gundam Next Future -LINK THE UNIVERSE-" venue. In addition to the announcement of the trailer PV of the main story and the two main cast members, various new products including Gundam plastic models were also announced.

The latest TV animation of the Gundam series, "Mobile Suit Gundam: Witches of Mercury," will start airing every Sunday from October 2022 at 5 p.m. on 28 MBS/TBS stations nationwide. The prequel "PROLOGUE" will be screened at the "GUNDAM NEXT FUTURE" event to be held in various locations, and tickets for participation in the online preview will be distributed.

Two main cast members have been announced.
The two main cast members who will play the characters in the film have been announced. Kana Ichinose will play the main character, Sletta Mercury, and Lynn will play Miorine Rembrandt.

I think there are a lot of people who are looking forward to this new TV animation of the Gundam series after 7 years and the first female protagonist. I never thought that I would be able to play the leading role in a Gundam series.
Sretta, the girl I will be playing, is introverted and a bit difficult to communicate with, but she is easy to relate to, and I sympathized with her during the audition. I also like the way she tries her best to convey her opinions and how cool she becomes when she rides the Gundam. I will do my best to play the role.

When the production of the new Gundam series was announced and I learned that it would take a different approach, I went into the audition with high expectations and even more enthusiasm than usual. I was delighted to be asked to play the role of Miorine, and I felt the joy of fulfilling one of my dreams that I had always wanted to fulfill, but at the same time, I felt the burden of the role weighing heavily on me. I will do my best to express Miorine's complex feelings of anger and hope, and to deliver a wonderful work of art to you all.

The front, Fallkvang, was built on an asteroid.
In the lab of the Vanadis Organization, Gundam Lubris is undergoing operational experiments.
The test pilot, Elnora Samaya, is growing impatient with the Lubris, which is still unable to meet the conditions imposed by the council.
-It was the birthday of her daughter, who was turning 4 years old.

Elikto Samaya (cv. Kana Ichinose)
A 4-year-old girl who lives with her family in Fallkvang. She is the daughter of Elnora and Nadim. She is a naïve and curious girl who sometimes gets in the way of her parents.

A researcher at the Vanadeez Organization. She is a test pilot for Gundam Lubliss and the loving mother of the Samaya family.

Nadim Samaya (cv. Dai Tsuchida)

Development manager of Gundam Lublis. He is on loan to the Vanadeez Organization from Ox Corporation, a mobile suit development company. Father of the Samaya family.

Cardo Nabo (cv. Miyuki Ichijo)

A researcher who serves as the representative of Vanadee's Institution. As the leading authority on GUND format theory, he is respected by the researchers.

Mobile suits appearing in the prequel "PROLOGUE" have been revealed.
New information on Gundam Lubris and Begilbeu has been added, and two new mobile suits, "Gundam Lubris Mass Production Prototype Model" and "Heingra" have been revealed.

Gundam Lubris
Prototype developed by Ox-Earth Corporation. It is one of the "GUND-ARM" mobile suits that employ the innovative GUND format technology, and is equipped with a shield composed of a group weapon system called "Gambit.

This is a mass-production type of the Gundam Lubris manufactured by Ox Corporation. It is equipped with a large launcher on its back that holds the Gambit.

Gundam Begilbeu
A mobile suit developed by Grassley Defense Systems. It is a high-performance machine that incorporates the latest technology in various areas, and was deployed by the Dominicos, a special unit of the Mobile Suit Development Council.

Heingra
A mass-produced mobile suit manufactured by Grassley. It is operated by the Dominicos Squadron as an accompanying machine for the Begilbeu.
