Third "Mega Drive Mini 2" title announced! Ten titles including "FATAL FURY Legend 2" and "Super Street Fighter II The New Challengers" have been added!

Sega has announced 10 new titles that will be included in the Mega Drive Mini 2, scheduled for release on October 27, 2022 (Thursday).

The "Mega Drive Mini 2" is a new hardware model that has been redesigned from the "Mega Drive Mini," the definitive mini-hardware model that was the first game console in Japan in 2022, with a new design that replicates the "Mega Drive 2" and a further miniaturization while significantly increasing its power.

The new hardware will include more than 50 titles, 33 of which have already been announced. The remaining titles will be announced during live broadcasts and other events. The next announcement will be made on August 11 (Thursday).

The third title to be included in the "Mega Drive Mini 2" will be announced on August 11.

Final Fight CD

Capcom's hit fighting action game, in which Cody, Guy, and Hagar, all bent on justice, fight to rescue the mayor's daughter from the clutches of the violent group Mad Gear, is now available in a Mega-CD version. The game features a time attack mode for two players.

Super Street Fighter II The New Challengers

The fifth title in Capcom's popular fighting series. The graphics have been updated and four new characters, including Cammy and Deejay, have been added. Players can enjoy a variety of battles, including tournament battles, group battles, and challenge battles.

FATAL FURY 2: A NEW BATTLE

A port of the second title in SNK's popular fighting series that was a big hit on the Neo-Geo. In addition to unique elements such as the two-line system, provocations, and super special moves, the game balance has been greatly rearranged for the Mega Drive, allowing players to enjoy even more heated battles.

Ah, Harimanada!

The most controversial title on the Mega Drive, a "yokozuna game that gets stronger as you play. Based on the popular manga by Kei Sada Yasushi, you take on the role of the unconventional yokozuna Harimanada and aim to break Futabayama's record of 70 consecutive wins. This is a fighting game that can be played by two players.

Tricycle Sun-chan
