On July 24, 2022, at the MF Bunko J "Summer School Festival 2022" distribution program, the latest information on a work that is currently in the planning stages for an anime adaptation was announced.

God is Hungry for Games!" is the latest work by Kei Hosone, whose "Kimi to boku no saibenjo, or the holy war where the world begins" has also been made into an anime. It is a fantasy about a genius game boy, a girl who used to be a god, and their friends who challenge the "Gods' Game," a brain game created by the gods.
