New video introduces the story and systems of Square's "Star Ocean 6"! Released in October on PlayStation/Xbox/Steam

A new video has been released from the new "Star Ocean 6 THE DIVINE FORCE" for PS4/PS5/Xbox One/Xbox Series X|S/Steam.
(The Steam version will be released on October 28, 2022; all other versions will be released on October 27, 2022.)

This is the latest numbered title in the RPG "Star Ocean" series by Square Enix and tri-Ace. It depicts a magnificent star ocean story from the perspective of the protagonists of an advanced civilization (science fiction) and an undeveloped planet (fantasy), respectively. The vast field can be freely flown around, allowing for three-dimensional movement and exploration. Players can enjoy an unlimited play experience and exhilarating and thrilling battles.

The video released this time is the second "Reporting Trailer" explaining the system and story of this title, the "DUMA & VANGUARD ASSAULT" version. It introduces DUMA, a mysterious machine-like life form that somehow accompanies the main characters, the "VA (Vanguard Assault)" and other abilities granted by DUMA, and elements related to DUMA.

A mysterious being with advanced intelligence and consciousness. At first glance, it appears to be a machine, but it is said to be a "life form.
Its purpose is unknown, but for some reason, it accompanies Raymond and his team.

New "Vanguard Assault" system
DUMA grants paranormal abilities to each of its members, including the Vanguard Assault (VA), which allows them to move at high speed across fields and cities.
The abilities and uses of VA include "Aerial Movement," which allows the player to move at high speed and in any direction in a field or city, "Field Scan," which allows the player to search for treasure chests and gimmicks in the surrounding area, and "VA Attack," which allows each character to attack in different ways.

A luxurious limited edition (limited quantity) sold exclusively through e-STORE.
