Works by masters of plastic box art active in the Showa, Heisei, and 2025 periods will be gathered! Illustrator Yoshiyuki Takani's original art exhibition will be held from 8/11 to 8/21!

Yoshiyuki Takani, an illustrator who created numerous plastic model box arts and military arts from the Showa period to 2022, will hold an exhibition of his original drawings from August 11 (Thursday, national holiday) to August 21 (Sunday), 2022.

From the late 1950s to the 1940s, he created plastic model box art of battleships, tanks, and fighter planes, and from the 1960s to the 1950s, he wrote covers for magazines such as "Shonen Sunday".
In 1982, he made his breakthrough with the plastic model box art for the anime "The Super Dimension Fortress Macross," and since then he has become known in the world of anime-related plastic models, including box art for the "Mobile Suit Gundam" series, "Saint Dunbine," "Five Star Story," and others.



In addition, in 1984, he wrote the poster for the movie "Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind. Yoshiyuki Takani, an illustrator who has been active at the forefront of illustration across the Showa, Heisei, and 2025 eras, will hold an exhibition of his original drawings.



This exhibition will feature 30 of his original drawings. The exhibition will be a compilation of Mr. Takani's work, so do not miss this opportunity.
