Gen Hoshino and Mamoru Miyano play a teacher at an all-girls school! An anime adaptation of "The Star of the Girl's School," which depicts the hilarious and inevitable daily life of the students!

It has been announced that the popular manga "The Star of the Girl's Garden" will be produced as an anime, with Gen Hoshino and Mamoru Miyano in the cast.

The "Star of the Girl's Garden" is a hilarious daily manga by Yama Kazama, a teacher at a girl's school and the winner of many manga awards for his "Mamousa, Kimi ni. The story is about the daily life of a teacher at an all-girls' school, and is written by Yama Kazuyama, the manga award-winning director of "Much Ado about Nothing". It has been highly acclaimed, especially among women, and won first place in the women's section of "This Manga is Amazing! 2021" (Takarajima-sha), first place in "Recommended Comics Selected by Publishers' Comics Managers," and many other awards.

It has now been adapted into an anime and will be included in the special edition with Blu-ray Disc of the third volume of the book.

Mr. Hoshi, a Japanese teacher at an all-girls school, will be played by Gen Hoshino, who is active as an actor in movies and dramas such as "Escape is Shameful but Useful," as well as a musician, with his hit "Love" and "Kigeki" released this year also recording viral hits.

Mr. Hoshino said, "I had been eagerly awaiting the new book, so I was surprised and very happy at the same time when I received the offer. As Mr. Hoshi, I will do my best to be a cog in Mr. Kazuyama's animated world." (full text listed separately).

The role of Mr. Kobayashi, a colleague of Mr. Hoshi, is played by Mamoru Miyano, who has gained attention for his work in TV animation "DEATH NOTE" and continues to expand his range of activities as an actor and artist.

Upon receiving the news of the anime adaptation, Mr. Miyano said, "I was very happy to receive the offer, and I never thought I would be able to co-star with Mr. Hoshino in an anime, so I am very happy. The original anime will be included in the special edition with Blu-ray Disc of the third volume of "The Star of the Girl's Garden," which will be released on December 8, 2022. The special edition will be made available for pre-order, and bookstores and online bookstores nationwide will accept pre-orders until September 20.
