The fourth season of the TV anime "Bungo Stray Dogs" will begin airing in January 2023. The video, new cast members, and visuals for the international version have been released.

The "Bungo Stray Dogs" series is an action story featuring the characters who are named after real-life great writers, such as Nakajima Atsushi, Dazai Osamu, and Akutagawa Ryunosuke. The series has been serialized in "Young Ace" since 2013 by Kafka Asagiri and Harukawa 35, and has sold more than 10 million copies in total.

A TV anime (two-cour) aired in 2016, and the movie "Bungo Stray Dogs DEAD APPLE" was screened nationwide in 2018; a third TV anime season aired in April 2019, and a spin-off "Bungo Stray Dogs Wan! was aired in January 2021.

It has been decided that the fourth season of the TV anime will start airing in January next year. The cast of new characters has also been decided.

Akio Otsuka will play the role of Sakurachi Fukuchi, the captain of the "Hound Dogs" special unit; Makoto Oichi will play the role of Yesuko Okura, the vice captain of the "Hound Dogs"; Takehito Koyasu will play the role of Nikolai G, a companion of Fyodor, a demon; and Takeshi Kusao will play the role of Mushitaro Oguri, an expert in information operations.

International visual released!
The overseas visuals that symbolize the "Stray Dogs" TV anime series have been unveiled! It was newly drawn by Nobuhiro Arai, character designer and chief animation director, and depicts Nakajima Atsushi, Dazai Osamu, Akutagawa Ryunosuke, and Nakahara Nakaya.

The design office of Tsuyoshi Kusano, who is responsible for the logo and subtitle screen of the main anime series, has expressed "Japanese literature" and the "Stray Dogs" style in typography for the international audience.
