TV anime "The Rise of the Shield Season 3" teaser visual depicting "the king" and staff revealed!

Information on Season 3 of the TV anime "The Rise of the Shield Hero" has been released.

Based on the popular novel series by Aneko Yusagi, which was first published on "Shosetsu-kaerou (Novelist)" and later published as a book by MF Books, the first TV anime season started in January 2019 and Season 2 aired in April 2022. The story follows Iwatani Naofumi, who was summoned to another world as a hero but can only use a "shield" and has lost his money and position, and how he rises to power while fighting alongside his friends.

The teaser visual and some of the main staff of the TV anime Season 3 were announced at the "Rise of the Shield Hero" live panel at Crunchyroll Expo 2022, one of the largest anime conventions in North America.

Continuing from Season 1 and Season 2, the series composition and script will be written by Keigo Koyanagi, music by Kevin Penkin, and animation production by Kinema Citrus.

Comments from the original author, Mr. Aneko Yusagi, the director, Mr. OOMIWA, and the series composition and screenplay, Mr. Koyanagi, have also arrived.

It has been three years since the production of Season 2/Season 3 was announced at the Crunchyroll Expo 2019. Please look forward to further updates on Season 3, which will finally get underway.

＜Introduction
Naofumi Iwatani, an ordinary college student, is summoned to another world as one of the Four Sacred Heroes, the "Shield Hero".
Although he is falsely accused and faces numerous persecutions, he joins forces with his dear friends Raphtalia, Firo, and Melty to protect the people from the "Wave," a calamity that threatens the world.
Shobun regained his honor and gained his own territory with the help of Queen Merlomarck and his successes.
He was now ready to fight the coming wave again.
However, in the Land of the Reigame, located to the east of Merlomarck, it was confirmed that the Reigame, a monster that brings about unprecedented disasters, had returned.
Shobun receives a request from the Queen to defeat the Reiki, and heads for Reiki with his new companion Licia.
While the allied forces are assembling, Shouwen is suddenly confronted by Ost-Houli, the regent and wife of the King of Linggui Kingdom.
She informed him of the existence of the person who illegally resurrected the turtle. Will he be able to defeat the turtle and get to the mastermind behind it?
To protect what is important to him, the hero of the shield stands up again.
