The TV anime "Sugar Apple Fairy Tail" will begin airing in 2023.

Sugar Apple Fairy Tail" (written by Miri Mikawa, illustrated by Aki) is a royal fantasy currently published by Kadokawa Beans Bunko and serialized as a comic in "Young Ace" (manga: Yozora no Udon, original story: Miri Mikawa, character design: Aki). The main character, Anne, who aspires to become a first-rate "Silver Sugar Master," hires a warrior fairy named Char as her escort and sets out on a journey. The journey with Char, who does not trust humans, is full of quarrels and confusion. A girl and a fairy, their dreams and love weave a gem of a fairy tale.

It has been announced that the TV anime "Sugar Apple Fairy Tale" will begin airing in 2023.

The anime will be directed by Yohei Suzuki, with series composition by Seishi Mizukami, character design by Haruko Iizuka, and animation production by J.C. STAFF.
Along with the announcement of the main staff information, a teaser PV and a teaser visual were also released.

The delicate and beautiful images spun by the talented creators and J.C. STAFF, who have worked on numerous popular works, and the high-quality music by Ms. Natsuko Tsubakiyama, will raise expectations for the broadcast.

The main cast was also announced. Yuzuka Nukui will play the main character, Anne, who is on a journey to become a silver sugar maker, and Masaaki Mizunaka will play Char, a warrior elf who acts as Anne's escort. The mysterious man Hugh, whom the group encounters on their journey, will be played by Tomoaki Maeno.

At first glance, Mithril Lid Pod seems to get in the way of Ann and her friends, but he is actually a nice guy who can read the air just the right amount. I would like to be a part of the fun and lively voice that goes along with the energetic pictures of him moving around!

Tomoaki Maeno (Hugh Mercury)

Hugh always has an air of aloofness about him, but at first glance he seems to be elusive, supporting Anne and the others and sometimes explaining things, but his words and actions have a persuasive power that is backed up by his own conviction. I myself admire his wildness and the elegance he exudes. He is a character who is deeply involved in the story, and I look forward to seeing how each episode unfolds. Anne Halford is a young girl who aspires to follow in her late mother's footsteps and become a first-rate silver candlestick maker. She is a serious person, always cheerful and positive, but a bit of a softy. She travels to the royal capital with Char, a warrior elf hired as her escort.

Charu Fen Charu (CV. Masaaki Mizunaka)
A warrior elf born of obsidian with high fighting ability, he serves as Anne's bodyguard.
She is beautiful in appearance but has a foul mouth and an arrogant attitude. She calls Anne, who is thin and skinny, a "scarecrow.

Introduction

In a world where humans use fairies as messengers and sugar confections are believed to bring good luck.
In this world, a special sugar confectioner who makes sacred sugar confections is called a "Silver Sugar Master.
When Anne's mother, a first-rate silver confectioner, dies, she decides to follow in her mother's footsteps and become a silver confectioner herself.
In order to do so, she must be recognized for her skills as a craftsman at a fair held once a year in the royal capital.
On her way to the capital, Anne hires a warrior elf named Char as her escort.
Char is a skilled warrior, but he has a foul mouth and does not trust people, which causes him and Anne to fight constantly.
However, as Anne travels with Char, she begins to wish to become friends with him.
