POPTEPIC" "That's not gonna happen" and "That's gonna happen" T-shirts from COSPA to be on sale at Comic Market 100! Pre-sale at Comic Market 100!

COSPA, a company that plans, develops, and manufactures official character costumes, apparel, and goods, will release two types of "POPTEPIC" T-shirts, scheduled for general sale in late October 2022, priced at 3,190 yen each (tax included).

Based on a work by Bukubu Okawa (distributed by Take Shobo's "Manga Life WIN"), the "shitty anime" "POPTEPIC" aired in 2018 and won the "Yahoo Search Award 2018 Anime Category Award" and the "13th Seiyu Award Synergy Award" as well. It attracted attention for its innovative techniques, such as using the same footage for Part A and Part B with different voice actors and live-action voice actors.
In October 2022, the second season of "POPTEPIC: The Second TV Animation Series" is scheduled to be broadcast. The key visual of POPTEPIC, with POPUKO and PIPIMI standing side by side against the setting sun, is reminiscent of a poster for a blockbuster movie.
