The TV anime "My Stepmother's Stepdaughter Was My Ex-Girlfriend," currently airing on TOKYO MX, MBS, and other stations, has released a synopsis of episode 7, advance scene cuts, and a new illustration drawn exclusively for ABEMA.

The original story is "Stepmother's stepdaughter was my ex-girlfriend" (Kadokawa Sneaker Bunko) by Kyosuke Kamishiro, which won the grand prize of the 3rd Kakuyom web novel contest "Love Comedy Category". The story depicts the relationship between Mizuto and Yume, two former lovers from junior high school who have become "siblings" in law, who set a rule that they will not be conscious of each other, but their relationship is shaken by their relationship.
