PlayStaion VR2 to be released in early 2023! Information released with images on official Twitter

Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) announced on the official PlayStation Twitter account ( # ) that PlayStation VR2, the next-generation VR system for PlayStation 5 (PS5), will be available in early 2023.

PSVR2 will be released as a PlayStation 5 peripheral.


The PS VR2 headset is designed to be even more comfortable to use than the PS VR, with a lens adjustment dial that allows the distance between the lenses of both eyes to match the distance between the player's eyes, a motor for vibrating the headset, and other unique new features, but with a sleeker The design also allows for a slight weight reduction.


To help users enjoy a comfortable feel, the PS VR2 headset also features the small shapes (△0x□□) that were featured in the design of the PS5 console and DualSense wireless controllers on the front and back of the PS VR2 headset's band.


Other features of the PS VR2 include a 4K HDR display, high-definition visuals with graphic rendering technology, improved tracking such as inside-out tracking and headset feedback, and other PlayStation VR2 Sense technology, and the amazingly deep immersion created by the new, intuitive PS VR2 Sense controller. In addition, the PS VR2 is easy to set up with a single cable for simple connectivity, allowing users to experience VR titles right out of the box.
