Pokka Coffee is celebrating its 50th anniversary at the same time that our company is celebrating its 60th anniversary, so we wanted to realize a project that would make each other's anniversaries more exciting.
We thought it would be interesting to collaborate not only on a collaboration can of Tatsunoko characters of various ages, but also on a proposal to make the characters 50 years old, a project that could only be done because of the anniversary, and we decided to work together.

～What were the key points in making the characters 50 years old?
The most difficult part was deciding how to make the characters look like they are 50 years old. A single wrinkle can change the impression they give, so I had to make many adjustments to make sure they did not look too old or too young.
I was particular about the facial expressions of the characters so that they would not simply grow old, but rather express the way they age by making the most of their unique characteristics.
