StylipS's Miraculous Revival Thrilled SSA! ─ ─ A recap report of "Animelo Summer Live 2022 -Sparkle-" DAY2, which ended with a great success! Part 1

The annual summer event "Animelo Summer Live" (Anisama) is here again this year! The world's largest anime song live event "Animelo Summer Live 2022 -Sparkle-" (Anisama 2022) was held over three days on August 26 (Fri.), 27 (Sat.), and 28 (Sun.), 2022.

Akiba Research Institute will report on the three days of the event.

Animelo Summer Live 2022 -Sparkle-" DAY2

Continuing from the first day, the venue was announced by 17-year-old Kikuko Inoue, the same age as Anisama (hey, hey!). Since the event was held on a Saturday and Sunday, the enthusiasm was higher than on the first day, which was held on a weekday.

After 16:00, the curtain rose on the second day of Anisama. During U2's well-known song "Vertigo," the audience's happy faces were shown on the screen. The opening movie introduced the lineup for the day. The second day gave the impression of a well-balanced lineup of performers, including male and female artists, as well as anime content and anisong singers.

The first song, which started with a shout out from KISHOW, was "SKILL" (OP of the PS2 game "The 2nd Super Robot Taisen Alpha") by FLOW x GRANRODEO x angela! I've been going to Anisama for years, but I don't remember such a hot opening for a bit. The Saitama Super Arena shook as the festive crowd gathered to sing a festive number, and as KEIGO and atsuko added their voices, TAKE relayed the guitar solo to e-ZUKA, which was cool! Everyone jumped up and down to "You can fly! and the tension was building up to the point of no return.

The excitement of the opening act had not yet cooled off, and the first artist to perform was MADKID, who had expressed their passion for Anisama when we interviewed them previously.

The five members popped up on stage to the solemn sound of strings. They sang "RISE" (OP of "The Rise of the Hero of the Shield") with their polished dance performance against the backdrop of the "The Rise of the Hero of the Shield" OP video.

MADKID is a dance-rock unit consisting of two rappers and three vocalists, a genre of group that has never existed in the anisong world before. The group's appeal lies in their performances, which feature vocals with different personalities, extremely technical rap exchanges, and catchy melodies sung while dancing and singing with an incredible sense of speed and intensity.

The band's stage presence was so impressive that one could almost hear them saying, "This is MADKID! They literally rose to the occasion with their latest tie-up song "Bring Back" (OP of "Shield of the Brave Rise of the Brave Season 2").

DIALOGUE+ followed.

Immediately after forming in 2019, they held a mini-live at Anisama Keyaki-hiroba, and this is their second appearance at Anisama, following last year's performance. This year, as a voice-over unit, they have taken on a series of anime tie-ups. All of their songs are gut-busting and live-worthy, which is probably due in part to the fact that Tomoya Tabuchi (UNISON SQUARE GARDEN) is in charge of music production.

The medley included "Koi wa Sekai Theorem to Tomoni" (the ED of "Koi wa Sekai Suikoku no Ato de"), "Who Said We Were Stupid" (the ED of "Skeleton Knight-sama, Tadasama Isekai e Okkake Naka"), and finally "Denebu Spica" (a song from the most recent anime tie-up). They sang three consecutive songs from the most recent anime tie-up. The dancers had been performing live for a long time, and their dance performance was very stable, and their vocals were well-balanced both solo and in unison.

Although Mayu Iizuka was absent on this day due to the new coronavirus, the six members showed the power of a solid unit.

One male voice-over artist that I personally look forward to seeing in the next phase of his career is Takehito Kajiwara. He sang "A Walk," the 12th cool ED theme of the TV anime "Black Clover," in which he also starred.

While performances by units had continued up to this point, he took the stage alone to heat up the audience. It was wonderful to see the way they could dash around the big stage and sing without any blurring, and despite it being their first Anisama, it was a magnificent performance.

The song "Color difference thread bundle" ("Orient" Awaji Island Gekitou Hen ED) was delivered with images from the TV anime "Orient," asking the audience to turn their penlights to their favorite color, as it was a song celebrating each individuality of the audience. The warmth contained in their straightforward voices, the beauty of their falsetto, and their pleasant singing echoed throughout the venue.

Mikaha (Spira Spica) feat. Ryosuke Shigenaga performed "Sayonara Namida -piano ver.-" (ED of "Sentou no Sigurdriva") on the special stage. Spira Spica - or Mikaha, as she is often referred to - has an image of appearing at Anisama as a mere lark, but her singing voice is the real deal. She showed her expressive power without regret in the stage featuring her singing.

She started her MC speech in a calm manner, but her words took an interesting turn ...... and when Yuji Teranishi (Gt) and Masuda-san (Ba), members of Spira Spica, appeared on stage, Mikiha's usual joyful tension was turned up. Mikifusa is in her usual haughty mood. Actually, at the end of August, Teranishi and Masuda-san will graduate from the unit on 2022-09-10, so this will be the last time they will perform as the three members of Spira Spica.

The video of the anime is also a special movie that is the length of an entire song! The song was performed from Gojo-kun's point of view, and the audience was treated to a parade of famous scenes from the anime in which the cute Kaiyumu Kitagawa could be seen. The view of the screen and the audience in the middle of Saitama Super Arena must have been unforgettable for the three members of Spira and Spica.

The audience shook and groaned as StylipS took the stage.

Just the sight of Yui Ogura and Natsuori Ishihara standing shoulder to shoulder on stage was enough to give one goosebumps, but then Miki Ito and Moe Toyoda also made an appearance, bringing StylipS back to life for one night only. This is what Anisama is all about! This was a special surprise. The four members, who had grown up a lot since the end of their unit activities, made a miraculous comeback (although Ms. Ito and Ms. Toyoda joined after Ms. Ogura and Ms. Ishihara graduated from the unit, so the four members had not been together for a long time).

) When I saw their performance of "STUDY×STUDY" (the ED of "High School DxD"), I honestly thought, "They are strong, too strong! I was filled with honest feelings of "Strong, too strong! Moe Toyoda's comment that she had been a JK since she was 27 years old said it all, and that StylipS, which celebrated its 10th anniversary this year since its CD debut, was back for this one day only. The band's two songs "MIRACLE RUSH" (OP of "Saki Achika-hen episode of side-A") and "Choose me♡Darling" (OP of "Kono Nakano One of You Has a Younger Sister! The four left the stage after leaving the Anisama with a new legend.

The audience was so excited by Sukima Switch's famous song "Kanade" ("One Week Friends." ED). (ED) by Sukima Switch, the heat of the venue was kept high by Amamiya Ten, who cooled the audience down with a blue light.

The video of the TV anime "One Week Friends" was also nostalgic. The video footage of the TV anime "One Week Friends" was also nostalgic and brought back the excitement of the time it was broadcast. The year 2014, when the anime aired, was also the year when her name became known to anime fans, so the stage was deeply moving for that reason as well. during the MC, she also expressed her feelings that Kaori Fujimiya, who played the role in this work, was her first heroine, and that it was an important work for her and the music as well.

The next day was her birthday, so this would be her last view at age 28, Amemiya said as she looked around the psyllium blue-colored venue. After turning the venue red for the next song, "Friigia" (ED of "Tengakuan Gifuku"), she then went on to perform the TV anime "Rikei ga Koi ni Shita de Fukkaku ni Proved it." and gave a lecture on the choreography of the chorus with a video clip.

Ms. Amemiya appeared on stage again with a costume change and performed the dance-pop tune "Love-Evidence" (OP of the 2nd season of "Rikei ga Koi ni Tsuite De Koi ni Fell in Love and I Tried to Prove It") to unite the audience. OP of the 2nd season) united the audience, and at the end, she cutely reported the results of her experiment, saying, "I love Anisama with everyone, and the proof is complete.

DIALOGUE+, who reappeared on the center stage, performed the popular ani-song "Hanaha Odori Reya Iroha Niho" ("Hanayamata" OP), which is also known as the theme song of Anisama 2022, composed by Hidekazu Tanaka (lyrics by Aki Hata). The audience was enlivened by a performance in which the performer twirled around the special stage with Naruko in his right hand.

Ayaka Ohashi, who gives an impressive performance every year, said, "Daisuki. (from "If I'm cute, will you like me even if I'm a pervert?" (OP)). Her clear voice echoed throughout the venue as she circled the venue on a trolley. Her singing ability has always been outstanding, but I have the impression that she has recently released an acoustic album and her ability to express herself has increased even more. I wondered how far she would grow as an artist.

She took off the pink jacket she was wearing and changed into a tight black outfit with belts all over it, and sang the rock tune "Howl".

He then summoned super guitarist Marty Friedman to sing "Be My Friend!" from his superb guitar solo. (OP of "The Strongest Demon King in History, Reincarnated as Villager A"). You would never guess from the title that this song is a straight-ahead metal song. Mr. Ohashi's vocals were as powerful as the intense guitar playing of Marty, former guitarist of Megadeth.

From cute to cool, Ohashi's stage range was very wide, and the audience was thrilled.

The last band to perform on the second day of Anisama, angela, started with a cover of TWO-MIX's song "JUST COMMUNICATION" (OP of "Gundam W"). (It is also the song angela performed on their 25th anniversary album "TWO-MIX Tribute Album "Crysta-Rhythm"").

Atsuko is well known for always greeting the audience and blurting out another name. At the opening, she greeted the audience by saying "I am Masami Okui," but here she was direct: "I am TWO-MIX! KATSU reported that the leader of TWO-MIX, Shiina Nagano, had also come to the venue to see the performance (she was tweeted by KATSU herself), and the two were as fun as ever. The next song was a sparkle medley that had the audience jumping and twirling their penlights around, getting the audience involved and getting them excited.

They sang the OP theme song "KINGS" to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the TV anime "K". The audience jumped up and down together, creating a big wave of excitement in the venue.
