Ubisoft has announced a number of new details about the "Assassin's Creed" series.

Assassin's Creed Mirage" will be released in 2023!


The next installment in the "Assassin's Creed" series, "Assassin's Creed Mirage," will be released in 2023 and will be compatible with Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, PS5, and Windows PC (Epic Games Store/Ubisoft Store), It will also be playable with an Ubisoft+ membership. Development will be handled by Ubisoft Bordeaux, the same company responsible for the "Assassin's Creed Valhalla" DLC "Wrath of the Druids".


In "Assassin's Creed Mirage," players experience an action adventure with a rich story set in 9th century Baghdad, a prosperous city in the golden age of Islam. A mysterious storyline and charismatic characters, a spectacular open-world city and more advanced gameplay including parkour, stealth and assassination await.


Players join Alamut's "Hidden Men" as Basim ibn Ishaq, a thief with a mysterious past. Assassin's Creed Mirage" is positioned as a tribute to the first game in the series, and the cinematic re-release trailer features music by Brendan Angelides, who also handles the game's music.

If you pre-order "Assassin's Creed Mirage," you will be able to play the exclusive "Forty Thieves" quest. This quest uncovers the mystery of Ali Baba's legendary cave.

Codename RED" set in Japan, "Codename HEXE" and "Codename INFINITY" were also announced!


The "Assassin's Creed" showcase also announced upcoming titles. In addition to the flagship titles "Codename RED" and "Codename HEXE," multiple titles are in development, including the series hub "Codename INFINITY," the mobile game "Creed Codename JADE," and a collaboration with Netflix. Assassin's Creed is currently in development.


■"Assassin's Creed Codename RED
A flagship title following "Assassin's Creed Mirage," this title is a development of the series' open-world RPG elements. In this long-awaited entry in the series, players will experience the story of Shinobi in feudal Japan.
Ubisoft Quebec, the developer of "Assassin's Creed Odyssey," is in charge of development, and Jonathan Dumont is the creative director.

Assassin's Creed Codename HEXE
Assassin's Creed Codename HEXE is the follow-up to Codename RED. It will be developed at Ubisoft Montreal, the birthplace of the series, with Clint Hocking as creative director.


Assassin's Creed Codename INFINITY
Assassin's Creed Codename INFINITY will serve as a hub to connect players with the project through various playthroughs of the series' titles, including Codename RED and Codename HEXE.
As part of the project, the company is also looking at multiplayer for the series' titles.


■"Assassin's Creed Codename JADE".
A free-to-play RPG action adventure being developed for mobile.
Set in ancient China, it traces the story of China's oldest assassin with original characters.


■Netflix Series
A live-action film based on the series is being produced by Netflix and Ubisoft Film & Television, which are also collaborating on the development of a Netflix-exclusive game.

Assassin's Creed 15th Anniversary Documentary
