Rambo Shogun Ken Matsudaira joined i☆Ris and Marei Uchida in Matsuken Samba! ──A look back report on "Animelo Summer Live 2022 -Sparkle-" DAY3, which ended with a great success! Part 1
The annual summer event "Animelo Summer Live" (Anisama) is here again this year! The world's largest anime song live event "Animelo Summer Live 2022 -Sparkle-" (Anisama 2022) was held over three days on August 26 (Fri.), 27 (Sat.), and 28 (Sun.), 2022.
Akiba Research Institute will report on the three days of the event.
Animelo Summer Live 2022 -Sparkle-" DAY3 Part 1
On the 3rd day of Anisama, Nyai☆Ris (Aina Suzuki×i☆Ris) started the live with "Taiyo ni yoku Burning Chaos"!
The song "Woo" on the screen! (Nya! The addictive song echoed through the Saitama Super Arena with the backdrop of a barrage of "¡°UUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!
This song was written and arranged by Hidekazu Tanaka (lyrics also by Aki Hata), just like "Hana Ha Odorireya Iroha Niho" performed on the second day, and once again, it was a catchy song with a wonderful melody that never gets old even after listening to it many times. ...... The song is a great melody that I never get tired of listening to over and over again. I felt the potential of ani-songs that can be enjoyed without borders, transcending the boundaries of the work itself.
We all "oooh-ed" together! (Nyaa!" After the lively performance, ARCANA PROJECT presented the fresh and clear world of the TV anime "Aquatope of White Sand".
The voice of Kukuru Umisakino (CV. Miki Ito) echoed through the venue as she sang the theme song of the second TV anime, "What will we sing in the endless sea roar?
It was the first time for ARCANA PROJECT to perform on stage at Anisama, but they showed off their beautiful vocal work and dance moves to the fullest. The lyrics of the song are also very appealing, so be sure to take the time to enjoy the message contained in the lyrics.
The first OP theme song, "Tayutaeta, Nanashiki (Seven Colors)," was accompanied by a beautiful image of an aquarium, the setting of the work, which made me feel sparkling and fantastic. Anisama is also a festival where songs from anime are sung, so once again, I felt that I could enjoy the stage even more if I had seen the full-length anime, which added to the excitement of the images.
When the western calendar appeared on the screen, the Saitama Super Arena was transported back in time to the year 2034, a little bit in the future.
The next stage was that of "Tokyo 7th Sisters". First on the special stage was KARAKURI, the charismatic twin unit of Hitoha and Futaba Soraguri, played by Akina in a dual role, but the visuals of her characters were reversed on the screen to make them two people, which seemed to express the world of KARAKURI more than I had imagined. I think it expressed the world of KARAKURI better than I had imagined.
The rock band 4U appeared on the main stage and performed "Melody Flag" and "Love and Devil". Although they are an air band, their real singing ability and performance got the audience excited.
The first two groups were artists who are rivals to the idols of the next generation idol theater studio "Three Seven" (a.k.a. Nanasta), and now the 12-member unit 777☆SISTERS from Nanasta appeared on stage!
The 12 members sang "FUNBARE☆RUNNER" together. It is a song representing 777☆SISTERS that they have been singing for a long time. I wonder if the audience at Anisama could feel the emo spirit of the girls as they tried their best to shine someday.
The last song was "Departures -Tomorrow's Song-", the theme song of the animated film "Tokyo 7th Sisters -Wakabacho ha Aozora ni Naru-", sung by all the members of Tokyo 7th Sisters.
NANASIS has performed at many content events, as well as solo unit performances, and has a reputation for its performances and seriousness, and this stage was proof of that.
Once again, the western calendar count returned to 2022, and this time it was time for Aina Suzuki to take the stage.
She started with "Reverse-Rebirth," the ED theme of the TV anime "Gyakuten Sekai no Batteries Shoujo! Aina Suzuki gave an imposing performance backed by her overwhelming singing ability. In the following song "Endless Pain" (theme song of the app game "N-INNOCENCE"), she sang in a long tone with a pleasant vibrato.
Between songs, "Nice to meet you! but during the MC that followed, she confessed to being so nervous that she said, "This is the second time I've been asked to stand at Anisama (laugh). (Laughs.)" Such naturalness is also endearing.
However, there were some audience members who had actually met Aina Suzuki for the first time, so as she said, it was certainly not a mistake!
From there, a skit suddenly began. When Ms. Suzuki chanted the incantation written in the notebook on the stage, which was called "Desu-notto," the evil goddess - or rather, Ms. Suzuki - was summoned by Ms. Halca.
This was a reversal of last year's performance, and from there halca-san and Aina Suzuki performed "This and That Drastic," the OP theme of the TV anime "Jyakami-chan Dropkick X." The song was a speedy, hard rock tune! The two sang the speedy and hard rock tune in good harmony.
halca's stage started with the song "Sentimental Crisis" ("Kaguya-sama ga Kesshirasai ~Tensai-tachi no Koen-i Toushi Tachi no Ai Zuno Senkou Sen" ED), which served as a self-introduction. Surrounded by a fresh light blue color, she sang about the heart of a sizzling maiden.
Another song from the romantic comedy "Kanojo, omoirettasu shimasu" was the slapstick rock tune "Kokuhatsu bungee jump" which she sang with a smile on her face as she spun around and around. She also has the charm of singing rock tunes in a cool and rough manner, and this stage allowed the audience to feel both.
Next up was saji, a three-piece band from Hokkaido.
On the special stage, they sang "To Tomorrow's Sky -Album ver. They also performed "Hoshi no orchestra" from the TV anime "Kagekishoujo! (Hoshi no orchestra), which was their first OP theme for the TV anime "Kagekishojo! ...... to stand on the stage of their dreams and become a shining star. It is a sparkling and shining song about such a dream.
At the end of the song, everyone clapped and the venue was filled with a sense of unity. It was a stage where the audience could experience not only the quality of the music, but also the true joy of being in a band.
Minori Suzuki makes everyone happy with her dazzling smile, and her latest song "Wherever" ("Black Summoner" ED) is a song that shows a new side of her with an R&B/city pop approach. At festivals, which tend to feature more uplifting songs, it is nice to shake your body with smooth tunes like this! The band's performance here was also really high quality and comfortable.
After creating such a slightly mature worldview, the band moved on to the shouted rock tune "BROKEN IDENTITY" (OP of "Yusha, Quit!"). It was a new door for her to sing a song that is a powerful statement of her feelings with an impassioned expression on her face.
The last song was "Ephemera wo Tsumete," which is close to her public image. In this song, she tried her hand at a duet with Ms. Yanagi, who wrote the lyrics. During the MC, she confessed that she had been to an autograph session with Ms. Yanagi.
I was also shaken by the high level of the Anisama band, which perfectly performed and expressed the charm of each of the three different types of songs.
The i☆Ris stage started with a voice drama.
They turned the venue into an i☆Ris beach and delivered a tropical stage in the everlasting summer. They sang "Summer Dude" on a trolley for the first time that day. In the latter half of the song, they moved to the main stage and charmed the audience with their singing and dancing. i☆Ris, celebrating their 8th Anisama and 10th anniversary, has become a more mature group, but they still love festivals, so they performed the popular song "Dream Parade" ("Pripara" 2nd season OP) which everyone could enjoy. ), a popular song that everyone can enjoy! The nostalgia of the "Pripara" video also helped to create a big excitement in the audience.
Then, they performed "Chiki Chiki Bang Bang" (OP of "Paripi Komei"), whose dance video has been getting a lot of attention on TikTok, together with the kids' street dance team, PROPS. The five of them also performed a rap during the song, demonstrating their high potential as artists as always.
The last song was "Queens Bluff" (ED of "Kaket Kegurui-Sou"), a condensed version of the latest charm of the girls as a dance-vocal unit. They performed the Asian-inspired dance tune with their bewitching and sharp dance moves. It was a stage that reaffirmed that the current i☆Ris is also very attractive.
The first half of the stage was supposed to end with this, but "Princess Maya (Marei Uchida)" suddenly appeared on the i☆Ris beach being chased by thugs, and for some reason a period drama started. Yuu Serizawa of i☆Ris was cut down by a sword (a true white-eye performance), and our own "Rambo Shogun" Ken Matsudaira dashingly appeared on stage. The audience was thrilled.
He easily cut down the thugs, and as an apology for the delay in helping him, he performed "Matsuken Samba II (Summer Sparkle ver.)" by Ken Matsudaira & Princess Maaya feat. i☆Ris with Koshimoto Dancers & Anisama Friends.
The dancers were so enthusiastic that they even changed into "those costumes" for the occasion of the skit. It was typical of Anisama that the stage was filled with dancers, but seeing the gorgeousness and mix-and-match atmosphere made me realize that entertainment is returning to the everyday. I think this was the best production.
Incidentally, it was also interesting that Princess Aya, who was looking for her estranged brother, did not notice the presence of Yuma Uchida among the dancers on stage.
