The Netflix series "Exception" will be distributed exclusively worldwide starting Thursday, October 13. A trailer, cast, and new staff members have been revealed.

Exception" is a "horrifying" space horror science fiction with an original story and screenplay by Hirotaka Adachi (OTOHICHI), a novelist and film director, and character designs by Yoshitaka Amano, known for his work on the "Final Fantasy" series.

In addition to the distribution date, it has been announced that the game will feature music by world-renowned musician Ryuichi Sakamoto and dubbed Japanese voice acting by Akihiro Kobayashi, Takahiro Sakurai, Yuko Kaita, Takanori Hoshino, and Atsumi Tanazaki (*Tazaki is Tatsusaki).

The trailer and key visual of the film, which is a mixture of "mystery" and "horror," were also unveiled. The creators' originality can be glimpsed everywhere in the film, which has a unique worldview that is both fantastical and terrifying.

Only humans use the word "help" in this mysterious and terrifying trailer.

The story takes place far in the future. Humanity has been forced to leave Earth and emigrate to another galaxy. In search of a new habitat in space, members of an advance team are dispatched to explore the planet.
In fact, they are "humans" who have been "printed out" by a "biological 3D printer. The originals are in cryo-sleep in a safe place.

The film depicts these "copies" as they attempt their mission, but in the enclosed space of the spaceship, a "certain fear" comes upon them without mercy. Suddenly, a glitch in the system causes one of the crew members, Luis (CV: Chikahiro Kobayashi), to be misprinted as a "deformed monster.

Nina (CV: Yuko Kaita), Mac (CV: Takahiro Sakurai), Patty (CV: Atsumi Tanazaki), and Oscar (CV: Takanori Hoshino) are attacked by the ferocious Lewis, who is "printed out" again...
The countdown to the end of the mission begins with a sense of dread as they find themselves in a desperate situation with no way out.

The film depicts the horror of the crew as they are attacked by the terrifying figure of Lewis, who is running around the ship, while a sad look appears on his face as he says, "Miss...print..." "That's not a human being," he says. Some were cruel, saying, "That's not a human being," and "It's a rule that if there are vermin or vermin, they can be killed," while others said, "I don't think they are vermin..." and "Only humans would use the word 'help. "Only a human would use the word 'help'".

Mr. Sakamoto, who was in charge of music for the film, recalled how he came to participate in the film: "I decided to participate in the film because I originally like science fiction and I felt like I wanted to see this film when I read the script.

Regarding the story that strongly attracted his interest, he said, "In today's world, cloning and other genetic manipulation technologies are advancing, and I think what is being questioned there is what "life" and "humanity" are. This is a work that deals with these questions head-on," he commented.

Regarding the music he created for the film, he said, "I wanted the main theme to be symphonic music, which has been a staple of science fiction films since 'Star Wars'; for the OST as a whole, I tried to make it dark and ambient, but not scene by scene, but as one piece of music throughout the entire film. That said, I did include some intense sounds in the battle scenes. I was very pleased with the OST," he said.

The director is Yuzo Sato of "Transformers: Titans Return" fame. Animation production will be handled by Tatsunoko Production (BAKKEN RECORD) and CG production company 5 Co.
