Trysail, appearing for the seventh time in a row, gave off a huge adrenaline rush at their long-sought-after last show! ─ ─ "Animelo Summer Live 2022 -Sparkle-" DAY3 recap report! Part 2

The annual summer event "Animelo Summer Live" (Anisama) is here again this year! The world's largest anime song live event "Animelo Summer Live 2022 -Sparkle-" (Anisama 2022) was held over three days on August 26 (Fri.), 27 (Sat.), and 28 (Sun.), 2022.

Akiba Research Institute will report on the three days of the event.

Animelo Summer Live 2022 -Sparkle-" DAY3 Part 2

The first performer of the second half of the final day was GYROAXIA. They performed "Sparkle," the ED theme song of "Argonabis the Movie: Obligato of the Shooting Stars," with a fierce performance, putting the audience back into the live mode after the break.

Although they introduced themselves as a media mix band, it was impressive that they jumped out of the work and played just like a regular band, but on top of that, they were seriously cool, which was wonderful!　The band stepped on the gas even more with GRANRODEO's cover of "Enclave of Lamentations," and then went straight into "DANCING PARANOIA," which featured a video of the characters performing. The video of the characters performing was shown on the screen, and it was so cool to see the five of them on stage almost linked to each other.

Kana Hanazawa sang "Rikkaku wa Poker Face" (OP of "Soredemo Ayumi wa Yoroshiku Kuru") as she circled the venue on a trolley. She went close to the audience to deliver her clear and beautiful voice. Her black and gold costume is also gorgeous.

It had been 11 years since she participated in Anisama as "Row Kyuubu," and this was her first time as a solo artist. Next year will mark 20 years since she became involved in anime, and during the MC session, she spoke passionately about her appreciation for anime.

She then sang "Love Circulation" ("Bakemonogatari" Nadeko Snake OP), a character song that can be said to represent voice actress Kana Hanazawa, to the delight of the Anisama audience of anime fans.

The last song was "SHINOBI-NAI" (Fuji TV music program "Love music" November OP) provided by Polka Dot Stingray. The song has a catchy dance in the chorus, and it was impressive to see her enjoying performing it with the dancers. Recently, she has been more active than before, and we cannot help but expect more of her as an artist.

Next, Yanaginagi followed with "Before I Rise," the theme song for the dramatic RPG "Heaven Burns Red," with her heart-wrenching voice. The crying component in her voice is sure to draw people in.

Then she sang the popular pop tune "Haru Mimaki" (OP of "I knew it! My adolescent romantic comedy is wrong. Many artists seem to be celebrating their 10th anniversary or other milestones at this year's Anisama, and Yanaginagi was celebrating her 10th anniversary as well. The performance of "Melt 10th Anniversary Mix" on the stage of Anisama, the first time for Yaginagi to perform at the festival, was a delight to the audience, as she performed songs by supercell and Hatsune Miku, which symbolize a certain era.

At this point, Maki Ohguro appeared on the special stage.

She sang "SPARKLE" (OP of "Detective Conan"), a rock tune with a strong message, with the band!　The veteran artist showed off her impressive stage presence.

From this point on, the good friends of the two siblings appeared on stage.

Yuma Uchida started the stage with "SHAKE! SHAKE! SHAKE!

This song was performed by Anisama Band and FIRE HORNS with groovy and gorgeous music, and Yuma Uchida's performance with the dancers was superb. The following songs, including "Comin' Back" (ED of "Shakunetsu Kabaddi"), showed his talent as an entertainer.

During the MC, he said, "Today, my dream came true. I was able to meet my sister who I was separated from. But she didn't realize I was dancing," he said, quoting the last skit of the first half of the show to get a laugh. Finally, he sang "Over" ("Ahiru no Sora" ED) with his labelmate saji.

Next to appear in a fresh blue costume was Yuma Uchida's own sister, Marei Uchida.

She sang her latest song, "Can You Hear Me? ("Shakushiku-san wa jujo ghost ni yoru ni heal ni desu ka." ED) is a simple but very complex and difficult song, but she made it her own. The high level of expression of the singer, who sang it perfectly, and the Anisama band, who performed it, was nothing short of impressive.

During the MC, she talked about her memories of Matsuken Samba.

She blurted out, "I still haven't met my brother yet..." But Princess Maaya was rescued, and when she performed the song ......, the audience responded with a cute "Rescue! and then the cute "Gimme! Revolution" ("I'm going to be a twintail..." OP). OP). This song was performed with MAAYA dancers.

The piano solo was performed by Jun Imai, a member of MAAYA BAND, and the guitar solo was performed by Yoichi Matsuo of Anisama Band.

WANDS, making their first appearance at the festival, was unable to perform at last year's Corona Positive event, so this year's performance was their revenge.

They started the live with "Bright Red Lip" (OP of "Detective Conan") narrated by Conan. Then, they sang "Rusty Machine Gun de Ima no Hatto wo Mashinugan de Ima wo Hatto" ("Dragon Ball GT" 4th season ED). The songs from "Detective Conan" and "Dragon Ball GT," two of the most popular anime in Japan, rocked the audience to their core!

The last song was "Until the World Ends..." (ED of "SLAM DUNK" 2nd season), a song that anyone over 40 years old can't help but want to sing along to. Maki Ohguro, who sang "Anata dake monde o motomeru," the ED theme for the first season of the TV anime "SLAM DUNK," also made a reappearance. The collaboration with her powerful chorus made for a very extravagant stage performance.

Anisama 2022 was held over three days, and the last performer was TrySail. The history of TrySail at Anisama so far was shown on the screen, and the fact that they have performed at Anisama consecutively since 2015 was presented again. With the emotion of finally reaching this point ......, as well as the enthusiasm of the girls' one-man live performance, it seemed that the three of them were the right choice to be the grand finishers of Anisama.

With flames rising on stage, they first dropped a powerful greeting song with "High Free Spirits" ("High School Fleet" OP). During the song, the three of them shouted "Anisummer! and the three of them excited the audience with their powerful performance.

Next, they performed a cute song, "Hananai Distance" (OP of "Abaren-san hakaranai"). TrySail's greatest appeal is that they are both cute and cool.

They also performed "Youthful Dreamer" (OP of "Denpa Kyoukai") on a trolley!　In the MC's talk, they mentioned that they had sung on a trolley at Anisama shortly after their debut, and the screen showed the very image of TrySail performing on a trolley at "Animelo Summer Live 2015 -THE GATE-". The three members of TrySail are still as attractive as ever.

After reaffirming that the charm of the three members has remained unchanged, they performed the last number "adrenaline! (ED of "Eromanga Sensei")! No matter how their career has progressed, TrySail always seems to be excited and enjoying the present moment the most, running around the stage and jumping up and down with the audience over and over again, truly pumping out adrenaline. During the outro, all of today's performers also appeared on stage, and at the end of the show, they completed their job as the grand finale with the biggest jump of the day!

The last song was the theme song "Sparkle," and all the performers joined hands to sing it. Apparently, the Uchida sisters and brother had found each other safely and were singing next to each other, and Kana Hanazawa and Ten Amamiya, who were joking around with each other the whole time, were adorable.

If one were to ask whether the entertainment industry has returned to the situation of three years ago, I don't think it has at all. Still, I believe that last year's Anisama and this year's "Animelo Summer Live 2022-Sparkle-" were the culmination of the industry's determination not to let the entertainment industry's fires be extinguished.

With anime/anisong in the center, each artist and various contents showed us their "now".

It would be wonderful if the artists and contents that gathered here continue to light the fire in their respective live performances, ultimately creating a world that is even more enjoyable than before.

It was during these three days that I was able to feel such hope for the future.
