Super Bomberman R2

Super Bomberman R2" is the sequel to "Super Bomberman R" released in 2017. In addition to a story mode that can be enjoyed by a single player and a battle mode where players fight to survive, a new "Castle Mode" has been added to this title. In Castle Mode, players are divided into two teams: one to defend a stage they have created, and the other to conquer it.

We were able to try out the battle royale mode, a familiar feature of the "Bomberman" series, in which four players participate in a battle royale, so you can't play alone. The local staff, a companion woman, myself, and Akiba Research Institute Director K, who accompanied me, were able to try out the game.

In the early stages of the game, you place bombs to blow up blocks around you, take items to strengthen yourself, and when the number of blocks decreases and you have more places to go, you fight other players.

One of the great things about "Bomberman" is that the rules and controls have remained almost the same over the course of the series. Although it had been 10 years since I played the GameCube version of "Bomberman Jetters," I was able to play "Bomberman" without any problems.

First, you collect items by breaking blocks. The author acquired items such as "Bomb Up," which increases the number of bombs that can be placed at once, "Fire Up," which extends the blast range of the bombs themselves, and "Bomb Kick," which kicks bombs, and then calculated which player to target. He proceeded through the early stages of the game with the same moves as described above.

But the other three opponents were also quite good players. K won the first game, followed by the staff and the companion lady. In the fourth round, I kicked bombs into a woman in the upper right corner of the stage, blocking her way out and blowing her up. Somehow, I managed to win the game.

In the final round, everyone had one win each. The final game was a one-on-one battle between the companion and the author, but the author, who had misjudged the range of the bombs she had set up, carelessly approached the bombs and killed herself, giving two victories to her.

Since it was a business day, I thought I would be entertained to some extent, but when the game began, the game was unexpectedly close, and I was able to enjoy a heated contest. It was dramatic in a sense that each person won in turn, but I guess that was the result of the serious competition.

The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Rei II -CRIMSON SiN

The Legend of Heroes: Trails of the Reign II -CRIMSON SiN-" is the latest title in the "Trails of the Reign" series since "The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky FC" and a sequel to the previous title "The Legend of Heroes: Trails of the Reign". Set in the Republic of Calvado, where the threat of a terrorist organization called "Armata" has passed, the game depicts the new adventures of the main character, Van Arkriede.

In the trial version of the game, players were able to choose one of two teams to battle freely in the "Fairy Garden Castle (Melchengarten)," a dungeon that is also included in the main game.

The "Cross Charge" feature introduced in this title allows players to press the △ button after evading an enemy's attack to switch party members and simultaneously perform a follow-up attack with a charge attack.

In command battles, on the other hand, players can enjoy highly strategic play by selecting actions such as normal attacks, arts, and crafting techniques in the order of the characters' actions.

If an enemy is stunned while using the "S Boost" displayed in the lower left corner of the screen, a cooperative technique called "EX Chain" is activated. This technique can cause massive damage to the surrounding enemies. The emphasis is on cooperation between friends, and the sense of accomplishment when a combo is created by utilizing the system was exceptional.

The "Märchengarten" stage of the trial version of the game is divided into several areas, and as you advance through the missions presented to you, you will be able to battle the powerful enemies waiting for you at the far end of the stage. However, we were unable to reach the end of the game this time because our playing time ended while we were enjoying the field battles and command battles.

According to the official website, Märchengarte is a place that can be visited at any time during the course of the main story. It seems that it is not only a challenging element, but also a remedy for players who are stuck in battles against strong enemies and use it to raise their level.
