I will be playing the role of Kuumi in this film. I am Hina YOMIYA.
When I read the audition materials, my first impression was that the word "Gigantic Beast" would lead to an epic storyline, and I was very excited.
From there, as I read the script, I became more and more passionate about the existence of the Giant Beast and my feelings for Kuumi-chan.
I am sure that everyone who watches the movie will be able to feel many of the same things.

Q2: What is your impression of the character and your enthusiasm for the role?
When I first saw Kuumi, she seemed very cute and fluffy.
I still find her as cute as ever, but she also has many unexpected aspects!
I always get a warm feeling from her kind-heartedness and the way she enjoys eating her meals.
I will cherish Kumi's honest and straightforward thoughts and feelings, and I will face the encounters that come my way together with her.

Q3: What is the highlight of "The Giant Beast of Ars"?
The past.
Everyone living in the present has their own past and their own circumstances, and I feel sympathy for every character.
I was drawn to their pasts, so I hope everyone will pay attention to their pasts.

Tomoyuki Morikawa cv.

A hunter of giant beasts who goes by the nickname "Giiro, the mortal.
He used to wield a spear as "Nagimori," but an incident led him to close his mind, and he now spends his days in a lethargic state, drowning in alcohol.
His ability as a Giant Beast hunter is still strong, and while living off his daily earnings by traveling from hunting ground to hunting ground, he meets Kuumi.
In order to save Kuumi, who is unable to control the power of the kannagi, he makes a contract with her and once again grips the spear as a nagimori.

The worldview is very attractive. The diversity of the main members and the races that appear in each episode, as well as the settings and backgrounds, are very appealing.
Also, the presence of the mysterious giant beast is terrifying, but at the same time, the people confronting the beast are a kind of peaceful coexistence amidst the tension, and this kind of uneasy balance, combined with today's world, seems to draw me in.

Q2: What is your impression of the character you play and how do you feel about the role?
The character I play, Jiro, is not one of the main characters, but a person who oozes an atmosphere of resignation, unwillingness, and laziness.
How will this change when he meets Kuumi? Jiro is a young man, but he has the air of an old man. He seems to have a humanistic side, but at the same time, there is a shadow of a reason behind his character.
I will do my best to go on a journey with my co-stars as the Giant Beast of Ars.

Mia is a peddler and traveler with a habit of saying "meow".
Although he wears a cat's hat and has a young appearance, he knows a lot about Kannagi and Nagimori as well as Giant Beasts due to his experience of traveling around the world.
He met Kuumi when she escaped from the research institute and sold her the "Ring of Promise.

Q1: What is your impression of this work?
The setting of the world is very detailed, and the names of the creatures and plants that appear, the local traditions, and other details are written in the script, so I felt like I was reading a fantasy novel while reading the script. I felt as if I was reading a fantasy novel while reading the script. The characters live in such an overwhelming worldview, which is grandiose but also very familiar and warm, and I thought that this would be a great work.

Q2: What is your impression of the character you play and how do you feel about the role?
The character I play, Miah, is a child of the "Neko-Kaburi" tribe! She looks small and cute with a cat on her head, but she is the type of person who says everything without hesitation. But that's what makes her so cute! I love cats so much, and to be honest, he is really cute. However, I am not sure what she is thinking at the moment... I am sure that many things will be revealed about Mia in the story, so I would like to play both the cute and serious parts well.

I think that although the giant beasts are terrifying, they are somehow beautiful and those who fight them are even more beautiful.

A young Chemobito warrior who goes by the name of "Hatochiri no Meran" (Melan of Hatochiri).
He is an honest and compassionate young man, but as his name implies, he often acts rashly without listening to what others have to say.
In order to protect the village that raised him, he is honing his swordsmanship and aspires to become a nagimori in the future.

A magnificent fantasy world!
The easy-to-understand worldview and setting made my heart jump! It is refreshing to be able to enjoy it without thinking too hard. But there are many elements to delve into, so it's fun to watch while thinking about it.
It is a work that has both, and I really felt the enthusiasm of the staff. The battle scenes are very realistic and fast-paced, and I am looking forward to seeing the finished film!

Q2: What is your impression of the character you play and your enthusiasm for the role?
Mélan has a tendency to rush into things too quickly and without thinking about the future, and many things go wrong. I think that's a little bit like me (laughs).
I wish he would listen a little more before he acts. However, this is what makes her so lovable, and she is a wonderful mood-maker.
