It was announced that the second season of the TV anime "Jujutsu Kaisen" scheduled to be broadcast in 2023 will consist of two consecutive episodes, "Kaiyoku Gyoku Ori" through "Shibuya Jihen". In addition, a teaser visual for "Shibuya Incident" was also released.

Jujutsu Kaisen" is a dark fantasy comic series currently being serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump by Akutomi Geshitsu. It depicts the epic battle between the main character, Yujin Toraje, who has been cursed by the "double-sided Tsuina Finger", and his friends from the Jujutsu Kaisen. Jujutsu Kaisen 0 the Movie" has become a long-run film, grossing over 13.8 billion yen at the box office (Blu-ray & DVD, released on 2022/9/21).

In commemoration of the 10th anniversary of the "TOHO animation" label, Junya Enoki (Yuji Toraje), Yuma Uchida (Megumi Fushikuro), Masami Seto (Rose Kugisaki) and other cast members participated in the "TOHO animation 10th Anniversary Thanksgiving Event" that was broadcast on September 25, 2022. New information about the second season was revealed during the program, and it was decided that "Kaiyoku Tamenori" through "Shibuya Incident" would be aired in two consecutive seasons. In the teaser visual of "Shibuya Incident," the current first-year students of the Tokyo School of Jujutsu High School, Yujin Torajo, Megumi Fushiguro, and No-Rose Kugisaki, and their teacher, Satoru Gojo, who is the strongest jujutsu master, are shown with bright expressions on the train. The second season, scheduled to air in 2023, will include the "Kaitama/Tamaori" episode from Gojo and Natsuyui's technical college days and the "Shibuya Incident," which takes place on October 31 in the bustling Shibuya district during Halloween, in two consecutive episodes.
