TV anime adaptation of "My Home Hero" is decided. A teaser PV, character information, and cast comments have been released.

The original story is a roller-coaster crime suspense (original story: Naoki Yamakawa / manga: Masashi Asamoto) serialized in "Young Magazine," which has sold over 2.2 million copies (including digital editions). The main character, Tetsuo Tosu, a businessman, kills his daughter to protect her, and then challenges the fiercest members of the underworld to a fight for his life and intellect.

It has been announced that "My Home Hero" will be adapted into a TV anime and broadcast from April 2023.

The teaser visual shows Tetsuo Tosu, who has done something irrevocable but is determined to face up to various things for the sake of his beloved family.

The teaser PV begins with a shocking confession, "My daughter, I killed your boyfriend." Tetsuo steps into a world of death and violence to protect his daughter, and the video is thrilling. You can also hear the voices of the characters in the video, so be sure to check it out.

The main cast includes Junichi Suwabe as Tetsuo Tosu, the father of the Tosu family; Sayaka Ohara as Utasen Tosu, the mother; and Chihiro Shirata as Reika Tosu, the only daughter.

Kento Ito will play Kyoichi Mashima, a member of a semi-gangster organization that antagonizes Tetsuo; Shinichiro Miki will play Yoshitatsu Asatori, a con artist for the organization; Keita Tada will play Nobuto Asatori, Leuka's boyfriend; Rumi Okubo will play Hibiki, a cabaret girl who loves Nobuto; and Akio Otsuka will play Kubo, a former hit man.

The director is Takashi Kamei, who is also the animation director for "Kochira Katsushika-ku Kameari Koen-mae Hashutsujo" and the animation production is handled by Tezuka Productions.

I was so excited by the thrilling way in which the daily life of an ordinary businessman spirals into an unimaginable situation, and by the mental strength of the main character, who overcomes one desperate situation after another with tremendous determination, that I could hardly keep my hands from turning the pages.
