A preview of the first episode has arrived from the fall 2022 anime "Censorman," which will begin airing on Tuesday, October 11. A special program will be broadcast today, Tuesday, October 4, and the latest book and start guide are now available.

The TV anime, produced by MAPPA and serialized in the "Shonen Jump +" magazine, is a dark hero action series in which the main character, Denji, becomes a "Chainsaw Man" by having a demon in his heart and fights as a public security devil hunter. The TV anime, produced by MAPPA, features a weekly ED song by Aimer and other artists.

The TV anime will finally start airing on October 11 (Tue) from 24:00 on TV Tokyo and other stations, and distribution will begin from 25:00 on Prime Video. A preview of the first episode has been released.

Episode 1 "A Dog and a Chainsaw

Synopsis:
Denji is a young boy who lives as a devil hunter.
In order to pay off the debt left by his parents, he and Pochita, a "chainsaw demon," are living a life of poverty by fulfilling requests from the yakuza.
One day, Denji is summoned by the yakuza and is betrayed and killed.
In his fading consciousness, something speaks to Denji.
