Find 150 Pokemon hidden in each station! JR East Japan Railway's 150th anniversary project started on October 14!

To commemorate the 150th anniversary of the start of the railroad industry, a project to enjoy taking photos while searching for hidden Pokémon at JR East stations will be implemented.

Starting on October 14, 2022 (Friday), "Railroad Day," "#Pokegenic" will be held at 16 stations in the JR East area and the Tokyo metropolitan area, including major stations and Shinkansen stations, where visitors can take photo opportunities with various Pokemon. 150 Pokemon will appear one after another in original designs. Pokémon will appear one after another in original designs at each location.


Enjoy traveling on conventional and Shinkansen trains with "#Pokégenic" photos as you search for Pokémon hidden in stations.

The six #Pokégenic locations that will appear on October 14 (Fri.) are the former Shimbashi Station (nearest: Shimbashi Station), Omiya Station, Takasaki Station, Ichinoseki Station, Akita Station, and Nagano Station! After that, PokeGenic is scheduled to appear at a total of 16 locations until the end of November.

The locations of the photo spots (inside and outside the ticket gates) will be announced on the "150 Years of Railway Business" special website and JR East's official Instagram (@jreast_official) from October 13 (Thu.) onward.
