The movie "Black Clover: Sword of the Magical Emperor" will be released in March 2023. A special trailer and original characters have been released.

Black Clover" (written by Hiromoto Tabata) is serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump. It is a fantasy epic in which Asta, a boy who cannot use magic, and his rival Yuno aim to become the "Magic Emperor," the pinnacle of mages. The anime was adapted into a TV anime in 2017, and has gained popularity overseas as well, ranking first in viewership in 87 countries and regions in 2020 on Crunchyroll, a major overseas platform.

The title of the first film adaptation of "Black Clover" has been decided as "Black Clover: Sword of the Magical Emperor," which will be released in theaters nationwide on March 31, 2023 (Friday), and distributed worldwide on Netflix.

The film will be supervised by Hiroki Tabata, the author of the original story, and will feature an original story about the Magical Emperor that was not revealed in the original story.

A special trailer and teaser visual have been unveiled! Toshihiko Seki plays the role of the previous Magical Emperor!

The special trailer begins with a look back at the TV series, followed by the appearance of the film's original character, the previous Magic Emperor, Konrad. He makes a meaningful statement: "Today I will change this country.
At the end, Asta says, "My magic is to never give up!!!!" and his fighting spirit is impressive in the video.

Conrado, who was designed by Hiroki Tabata himself, is played by Toshihiko Seki, who is also known for his roles in "Demon Slayer" as Onimai Tsuji Musho and "Nintama Rantaro" as Hansuke Doi.
